We now know that the ‘coulomb barrier’ in Condensed Matter Nuclear Reactions can be ‘violated’ and sustain interesting reactions, generating appreciable quantities of tritium, helium and alpha particles—all at ‘room temperature,’ as demonstrated during LENR/CANR experimentation. What is needed most, are the fundamentals necessary to understand the resultant ‘over-unity’ and ‘free energy’ that is sustained with appreciable regularity, when applied experimentally. We are currently at a distinct disadvantage—primarily because we are breaking NEW ground within a developing ‘paradigm’ shift articulated by the late Thomas S. Kuhn, who discovered the ‘primacy’ of competing ‘paradigms’ and knew first-hand the stringent necessary requirements needed to articulate ‘novelty of fact’ discoveries. Normal science does not recognize ‘novelty of fact’ discoveries initially—remaining dogmatic in supporting prior foundations. Only when opposing ‘paradigms’ gain ‘group order’ in sufficient quantity—to overcome the ‘intransigence’ of the existing ‘status quo’ science community—will there be ‘recognition’ of ‘novelty of fact’ discoveries. That being said—let us address the current novelty of ‘magnetically’ driven motors.
Increasingly there are sufficient ‘magnetic motors’ currently, that have demonstrated ‘over-unity’ values that sustain ‘more-energy-out-than-operator inputs’ dynamics—-Steorn, however, is the first organization to have come forward publicly and [officially] openly claim ‘over-unity.’ Now, therefore it is fundamentally prudent to examine how and more importantly why this is possible, and how the "environment" furnishes the excess energy input, so that the system operates analogously to a home heat pump which may output three to four times as much energy as furnished by the operator. To find the "new" source of environmental energy, first we must examine the definition of ‘energy’ and define ‘energy’ in its proper ‘form’ so that we may more accurately ‘model’ its ‘dynamics.’ The problem of definitions with regard to ‘energy’ is that there is no ‘precise’ definition of ‘energy’ that is fundamentally ‘absolute.’ In essence we really don’t know what ‘energy’ is, merely observing what it accomplishes, such as work, movement, and transference of form, therefore any definition of ‘energy’ would be definitively incomplete and thus de facto inaccurate. Ultimately a more precise definition of ‘energy’ necessitates a more accurate understanding of ‘energy,’ ultimately, from the very foundations of physics itself. The new approach is that "energy interaction" with matter fundamentally involves the interaction between local active vacuum/spacetime dynamics and that matter.
Thus energy is essentially a specific ‘ordering’ and/or dynamics of spacetime itself. A specific type of energy is defined within a specific ‘potential’ component of the active vacuum master potential. When a given type of energy potential interacts with mass, that ongoing interaction constitutes "forces" and "force fields" on that interacting mass. An "isolated" charge polarizes its surrounding active virtual state vacuum, thus (together with that polarized vacuum) becoming a part of a "dipole" (opposite charges separated by distance). Lee and Yang were awarded a Nobel Prize in December 1957 for having predicted broken symmetry in physics, including that of a dipole, after Wu et al. proved it experimentally in February 1957. Broken symmetry involves the conversion of something "virtual" into something "observable" – including conversion of virtual energy into observable energy.
A field and its dynamics in space may be defined as a specific pattern (in the appropriate component vacuum potential) of the warping and dynamics of spacetime itself, which also causes a specific corresponding pattern and dynamics in the virtual particle flux of the vacuum. The overall energy density of the vacuum – of all kinds – comprises the "master potential" of the vacuum, which consists of "component potentials" of all types of energy densities. As shown by E. T. Whittaker, any scalar EM potential can be mathematically decomposed into bidirectional longitudinal waves, and an EM field can be decomposed into differential functions applied to two different base scalar potentials.
When we assemble a source charge or a source dipole, its proven broken symmetry means that "something virtual has now become observable". In short, the source charge (together with its polarized vacuum charge) or the source dipole continually absorbs virtual photons from the local altered vacuum/spacetime, coherently integrates the absorbed virtual energy bits to the next quantum level, and then the excitation abruptly decays by the emission of a real observable photon. The process iterates incessantly.
So, because of its broken symmetry, any charge or dipole continually emits real, observable photons in all directions, at light speed. This steady outflow of photons establishes and continually replenishes the associated "static" fields and potentials of the source charge or source dipole. Since all EM fields and potentials are produced by their associated source charges, then every EM field and potential – and every joule of EM energy in the field or potential and therefore in the universe – has been freely extracted from the vacuum in this manner.
We ourselves do not have to discover how to extract usable EM energy from the virtual state vacuum every charge and dipole in the universe already freely does it for us. All we have to do is learn how to build and use "asymmetric" systems that intercept and collect some energy from the free flow of EM energy from the source charges and dipoles, and then use the intercepted/collected energy to power our loads – without symmetrically using half the collected energy to scatter the charge(s) and destroy the dipolarity, thereby cutting off the free flow of energy from the vacuum. However, all our present circuits are "symmetrical" circuits (since Lorentz arbitrarily symmetrized the Heaviside equations in 1892). These present symmetrical circuits therefore continually destroy their dipolar extraction of energy from the vacuum, faster than they can use some of the collected energy to power loads.
All the ‘energy’ we will ever need, already preexists from the beginning of the Creation itself. All that is needed is to learn how to usefully "gather" and use it from the free flows automatically extracted from the very ‘fabric’ of space-time itself by charges and dipoles.
This can indeed be done, and it is permitted by the laws of physics. It simply requires an asymmetric collection and use of the freely flowing energy to power the loads, without pumping the spent electrons in the circuit back through the back emf to destroy the source dipole inside the generator or other power source. But our engineers already arbitrarily discard all permissible asymmetrical Maxwellian systems!
Our present symmetrical circuits dissipate precisely half their collected energy to kill their output of free flow of energy from the vacuum, and dissipate the other half of the collected free energy to power the external circuit’s losses and the load. Since any real circuit has some losses, this means that – in any symmetrical circuit – more of the free energy from the vacuum is used to destroy the free extraction of energy from the vacuum, than is used to power the actual load. In a 100% efficient generator we would have to input as much mechanical energy to produce the rotating magnetic field inside the generator that forces the opposite charges inside the generator apart, producing the dipole again and restoring the free extraction of energy from the vacuum, that is flowing out of the terminals of the generator. So we always have to input more mechanical shaft energy to the generator to restore the dipolarity, than we get from the circuit into powering the actual load. Hence the deliberate symmetrical design of our systems self-enforces their COP
