Pure Energy Systems News

Oct. 5, 2010

This system was developed and patented in France by Raoul Hatem in 2006.

On May 6, 2010, YouTube user, "MindFreer" posted a There was an error working with the wiki: Code[1] that appeared to show one motor powering an alternator, producing twice as much energy as was required to run it, via a magnetic cogging coupling, which apparently harnesses free energy from the environment somehow. It involves There was an error working with the wiki: Code[2], which is not unique to this system. The particular arrangement of magnets seems to be the key.

Then, on Sept. 25, "MindFreer" posted another There was an error working with the wiki: Code[3], this one providing instructions on how to build this free energy device.

The video says: "I am giving away the plans for the Hatem Free Energy device to the world for free." (September 25, 2010)

It also says that they have not been able to self-loop the device yet, but that it can act to magnify energy from another source, whether it be solar, wind, or power from the grid.

The magnets mesh magnetically, not physically, as the drive motor turns. Allegedly, adding additional alternator cogs in series increases the output in relation to the input. The magnets are placed so that the poles on adjacent rotors are opposed and thereby are always attracting the magnets they magnetically mesh with.

On Oct. 4, 2010, an associate said that 'it is likely that this is not actually an overunity system, and that it is a function of measurement errors. "Watt meters are not accurate outside of their 60 Hz specs and they say nothing about reactive power or phase difference."' A more accurate measurement would need to be conducted to convincingly show that this system is somehow harnessing energy from the environment to thereby produce more energy than it takes to run it.

Below, we have posted as much information as we have found pertaining to the replication of this effect. We offer this page as the home for this open source project. Feel free to log in and edit to keep things current, accurate, and clear.

Do not attempt the construction of your own device unless you are completely qualified and willing to assume all of the risk for your actions. Electricity can be dangerous. If you construct a rotor and do not attach the magnets well enough, or spin them too fast, you will have flying projectiles which will act like bullets.

Dear [Sterling] Allan,

To inform you, there are some errors on this page or the history information is not complete:

Donald Conley from Chicago that made this was one of the first customers of my document that talk about my views, plans and summary of the magnetic motor plans that I sold on eBay 3 years ago.

After he bought this document, he began to work on a prototype with the plans. I advised him how to make his prototype better too, and with all this he succeeded to make his prototype a working model that doubles the energy in to out.

He is not alone, there are also other people that contacted me that succeeded to make one even better then him but that stays anonymous for the moment. Some are even running their house with like they tell me.

In that document I explained the theory of Hatem and my personal viewpoints and experiences.

One year later Donald contacted me to tell me he succeeded in making a prototype. He sent me one video that he authorized me to publish anonymously. This video had more then 200 000 views in one year, see image of my channel in attachment.

Image:Free Energy Power Generator Donald Duck banner 600.jpg

He became interested in this success and wanted to make his own YouTube channel to attract viewers and then inform them about his personal philosophies, like this he tries now to sell his books of scientology like you see on this channel. Scientology movement is very interested in free energy and tries to contact me regularly. But I don't share their philosophy.

Donald Conley asked YouTube one month ago to stop the publishing on my channel of the first video he gave me two years before. That was not very honest because he even didn't asked me before but it is his right and I respect his choice, it is just the way of acting that is strange.

He is from scientology and now he tries to explain to the people it is because of scientology that he achieved his prototype. Look yourself:

You can find the original document in English here:

Now the document is greatly updated with his own prototype and also others experiments like of a friend electrician that made very interesting measurements, and some keys about magnetism that make the system a lot more powerful.

The theory of Hatem does not explain how it is possible to make double energy with only one rotor and alternator. In Hatem's theory you need more then two alternators to make double energy.

In the updated document I explain how it can be possible and also new ways to improve the system to make even energy without the motor, the motor is just to start the process in the new systems that I advise.

For the moment I'm working on a whole new system, I would publish and tell you some more later.

Overunity Magnet Motor

In this video, MindFreer shows a motor on the right consuming ~97 Watts while an alternator on the left produces ~184 Watts via an inverter, after being coupled through MindFreer' magnetic coupling (the 'Hatem Free Energy Device'), which apparently is the source of the multiplication of power by nearly two-fold.

Rotor Construction and Assembly

Mindfreer writes:

I built my first rotors out of MDF. This was fine for my test device, because I wanted to be able to make a lot of different rotors very quickly. Then I started to construct my rotors out of ¾" acrylic plastic because these held up better at higher RPMs. For a permanent setup I would recommend brass. [Not aluminum as it develops eddy currents from passing magnets.] If they aren't balanced you can get shaking during operation, which you definitely don't want.

I used ¾" dia. X ½" thick neodymium magnets that has 1/8" holes thru them. I mounted the magnets with 8-32x1" brass flat head screws. I had to drill holes in the plastic and then install threaded brass inserts before I could screw the magnets to the rotors. For brass rotors you wouldn't need threaded inserts as you can just drill and tap the holes directly into the brass. Put a little Loctite screw adhesive on the screw when you install it to reduce the chance of it loosening up. I still checked the screws frequently after the unit was in operation to ensure everything was tight and nothing would go flying off unexpectedly. I put 12 magnets on each rotor section with a total of 3 sections 10 degrees so that there are a total of 36 magnets, one every 10 degrees equally spaced around the completed rotor. When assembling mating rotor sections you will need to make sure you rotate the rotor sections in opposite directions to its mate, so when all the rotors are in operation the magnets match up perfectly on adjacent rotors.

If you have found a bushing that fits the shaft of your motor/generator, then mounting the rotor will be easy. You will probably just have to buy longer mounting bolts because the ones that come with the bushings are usually too short. With alternators, mounting the rotor is a little more interesting because all of the alternators I've found are used in wind systems and are basically just rebuilt automotive alternators. Their shafts are threaded and come with a nut but are very short. I handle this by drilling a hole the size of the shaft in one of the rotor sections and putting it on the shaft with a nut. Then I bolt the other two rotor sections to the rotor section that I've already mounted on the alternator. You will have to drill a hole in the other 2 rotor sections large enough to get a socket into so you can get the shaft nut holding the first rotor section in place. You can see this on the unit I built and have pictured elsewhere in this video.

Motor Selection
Image:Hatem motor selection diagram 200.jpg

Selecting the right motor is very important, but you do have some choice depending mainly on the power source you have available and what you are trying to drive. I used a 1/3 hp motor to test my initial setup, which is way too small to be practical. I could only turn one alternator with it. So I'd recommend at least 1 hp, or bigger is even better. I've found up to 3hp/115vac readily available, and you can even go larger, if you feel comfortable working with 240 volts, which is in most American households. If you have access to 3-phase power, that's even better. There are even 3-phasae motors that come with converters to run them on 115 volts. If you don't have a way of controlling the rpm on the motor, then you will need to select a motor with a rate rpm that is in the proper range you want the alternators or generator to spin at. Just because the motor is rated for 3400 rpm, though, doesn't mean it will spin at that speed once it is under full load so take that into account. If you haven't sized the motor large enough, you may be limited in the total number of alternators or in the size of generator you can turn.

Most motors come with a base, but not all. If you are ordering the motor new, you may have a selection of bases to choose from. You can work with just about any kind of base, but just make sure it has one. If you do have a choice, it may be between a weldable base and a bloltable one. A boltable base will have holes in it for bolts, and a weldable one will not. If a base is not available, they are not difficult to make.

Once you've chosen your motor, you will need a way of turning it on so that it comes up to speed slowly. If it starts too fast, you will break the magnetic "bond" between adjacent rotors. They need to stay in sync as they come up to speed, or the system won't work. If you haven't chosen a motor that comes with matched motor controls, and it is a 115 volt motor, then you can hook up a dimmer switch to it. That can be used to start it slowly, but you could damage the motor if you run it at less than full speed too long.

You are going to need to mount your rotor to the shaft of the motor. This is accomplished with a bushing. You can buy these at You will need to know the diameter of the shaft on your motor and it should have a slot in the shaft for the key to fit into. The key should come with the motor. If it doesn't, you can pick one up at a hardware store. The key will shear off if there is ever an obstruction while the motor is running, and keep your motor from being damaged. It also keeps the shaft locked to the rotor as it spins.

Whether you use a generator or alternators, you are going to need to build a base to mount everything on. If you are a skilled metal worker, this should come quite easy for you. If you don't know how to weld, then you can buy perforated angle iron at a hardware store, hacksaw your pieces to size, and bold everything together like a big erector set. The main thing is that everything is mounted securely, and the framework is sturdy. You can't build it out of wood, so don't even try. It won't last, and you'll have a fire hazard. Make sure you enclose the rotors so there is no chance of anything getting caught in the spinning rotors or any way for magnets to go flying off and hurting someone. The rotors all need to be mounted in a fashion that allows them to be adjusted. I have gotten the best results when adjacent rotors are mounted as closely as possible without actually touching. Ideally, the whole system should be located in a mechanical room where it is protected and yet will still get air so it doesn't overheat.

We have also noticed in experimenting with this system that harmonics show up depending on the size and rpm of the rotors number, spacing and strength of the magnets, etc. Anti-gravity and perpetual motion phenomenon have also been seen at higher rpm's that have not been fully explored. The theories that follow are meant as a starting point and you may, in your own experiments, discover things that confirm or conflict with this video and so I welcome you to expand on my theories or formulate your own."
