Relevance: Directory:Steorn Free Energy
Here's a well-written article from a Nov. 19 Tech.co that Google News brought to my attention:
: It’s hard to believe that we may soon be able to purchase a portable charging device that never has to be recharged and doesn’t use batteries. After all, these are the types of devices we read about in science fiction novels and see on sci-fi television shows. But it looks like it is truly about to happen. Steorn, the Irish technology and development company, will soon begin selling the world’s first free energy device, which it refers to as the Orbo PowerCube.
: The Orbo PowerCube isn’t much to look at. It is really nothing more than a small square electronic device with USB charging ports. Steorn claims the small portable power station will charge an array of electronic devices, never having to be recharged itself. This means the little cube could provide free energy indefinitely (in theory, anyway).
: Will the Orbo PowerCube Change the World?
: If the PowerCube truly does what Orbo claims it does, it means we may soon see cell phones without batteries that never have to be recharged, laptops that never have to be plugged into a wall outlet, and maybe even homes that generate their own free electricity. If the device really creates free electricity, it could even mean the end of gasoline powered automobiles, airplanes, and ships. Imagine never having to see power lines ever again.
: How Does It Work?
: The Orbo PowerCube never has to be plugged into an outlet, has no batteries, and never needs to be charged or recharged. It just makes electricity. But how does it make electricity? Only the company knows at this point, as well as a few academics who have studied the device. It’s probably not a stretch to speculate that even the company probably doesn’t know exactly how it works.
: There has been much debate over the mechanics of the Orbo device. Some say it is through Overunity, and others state that the solid state device produces power from Dark Energy or Zero Point Energy.
: Orbo has had to deal with a lot of scrutiny over the years for claiming to have discovered a way to generate free energy. Many scientists have scoffed at the device claiming it defies the second law of thermodynamics and can’t possibly work. Considering this, it’s important to remember that there was a time when everyone thought the world was flat, that man would never be able to soar in the skies like birds, or even travel into outer space. Things in the scientific community rarely stay the same forever. What is considered settled science by one generation is occasionally proven wrong by the next.
: Steorn has been slowly introducing the new device to the public. One of the first public demonstrations of the PowerCube took place in a small Irish pub where the public was invited to check out the new technology and even use it to charge their electronic devices.
: Steorn has yet to announce when the PowerCube will be available for purchase, but stated it should be available in time for Christmas. For more information on the Orbo PowerCube the company will be holding a webinar on December 2nd, 2015 at 7 pm GMT

A little bragging rights for your attention, to show that I've got genes for being out ahead of the curve.
First, I should mention that my dad's father, Sylvester Allan, came up with the dually tires idea (no patents or other written documentation).
Here's a video my dad brought to our attention, this evening, of my mom's sister, Carol's husband's (Jon Birk of Dillard, Oregon) 1908 Model T, which is the oldest street-worthy Model T. They've got an amazing off-grid home.
In the first part of this video is vintage footage of an advertisement for the original Model T. It's very impressive to see the kind of terrain these things could traverse -- had to, because they didn't have the kind of roads we have today.
