Wants to Recreate Cosmic Induction Generator

: Hi Sterling,

: This is John Polakowski, Eric Dollard's associate. I've talked with you a few times before. I'm writing you because we're currently doing a fundraiser to recreate one of Eric's famous pieces of equipment, the Cosmic Induction Generator (CIG). The CIG can perform a variety of really amazing things. So far we haven't been able to raise much funds, and I was wondering if you could possibly put a link to our campaign on your page? That would be much appreciated! I can give you lots more info on our project if you want. Here is the link to the IndieGoGo Campaign:

: Hope you're doing well brother!

From ABK Capital Ltd.

: [7:47:07 AM] Anton Rogov: Hello [...]

: [7:47:36 AM] Anton Rogov: We have an offer to you.

: [7:48:18 AM] Anton Rogov: [As] I [mentioned,] we have a serious software product - ENCRYPTION SYSTEM RMX ( In the USA there are many interested buyers (Especially after scandal over the National Security Agency - NSA).

: We suggest you to find such buyers among the companies. We are ready to offer 10% of the sum of sale of RMX (we are ready to sell RMX for tens of millions. Though it is estimated at tens of billions). We are ready to sign with you the contract. It will be interesting to you? [Mention PES if you contact them about this, so we can get the referral fee. Thx]

: [7:49:02 AM] Anton Rogov: The RMX system can be checked on hacking.

: [7:50:45 AM] Anton Rogov: Maybe you can help to place advertizing on information resources on software products.

: [7:53:35 AM | Edited 7:53:49 AM] Anton Rogov: You can place detailed information as on our website

Here's an excerpt from their site:

: RMX system is 1020 times superior the A1 level of the USA national security (the highest level of security in the world before emergence of RMX).

: The RMX system has the highest level of cryptographic data protection in the world!

I received the following input regarding the above, for what it's worth.

: Sterling:

: Hi Sterling, my name is Barry Mead. I designed several cryptographic security systems for military satellite communication systems and the space shuttle while working for Motorola on NSA sponsored ciphers. I also did significant research in the field of Open Source crypto systems.

: I saw your posting about the RMX encryption system and read all of their claims. I would caution you and your readers to be wary of such claims, as it is easy to synthesize closed source crypto systems with NO ACADEMIC oversight, or validation. Usually unless a well known academic cryptographic scholar has blessed your algorithm with substantial mathematical analysis and testing against computers, it is not very secure.

: If you would like the name of the worlds most famous academic in the field of genuine cryptographic security, his name is "Bruce Schnier". If he has analyzed and certified the crypto system, you can be sure it is really secure.

: In the claims made by RMX I saw no mention of any certifications, or academic pier reviews. They also keep the source closed so that only insiders can verify the security of the algorithm.

: Remember that in cryptography security comes only from the key and the math. Keeping secrets is a good sign that the algorithm has not been adequately tested, verified or even reviewed by qualified experts in the field of cryptography.

: Take Care, Barry Mead
