Directory of motors in which static gravity is alleged as the continual, replenishing, motive force.
Preface : For a rotary device to "work" it has to achieve a full 360 rotation, with acceleration between each complete turn. At this time, there are no known functioning gravity motors -- only claims, which have not been validated in our day -- at least as far as we know.

Gravity powered rotational machine and method - US Patnet application 11/732,255 Publication number: US 2008/0011552 A1 by Stephen Raoul La Perle
A gravity powered rotational machine for rotating an output shaft to power a generator, pump or the like. The machine comprises a frame mounted pivot bar, a plurality of first swingarms rotatably attached to a center section of the pivot bar, a weight member slidably mounted on the first swingarms, a stationary railing defining a path around the center section, a rotational structure rotatably mounted on end sections of the pivot bar, second swingarms interconnecting the rotational structure and the first swingarms, and a driving mechanism interconnecting the rotational structure and output shaft. The center section of the pivot bar is off-set from its end sections. The stationary railing guides the first swingarms around the center section and directs the weight members inwardly and outwardly on the first swingarms while they group in a drop zone and spread in a lift zone of the path to rotate the output shaft. US Patent 6237342 May 29, 2001 John J. Hurford Abstract: A gravity motor which is formed of at least one motor unit which has a least one motor member fixed to an output shaft. The output shaft is rotationally mounted on a housing. The housing includes a guide surface. The motor member is low frictionally longitudinally movable relative to an output fhaft. Each end of the motor member includes a weighted follower which is low frictionally movable relative to a guide surface. The rotation of the motor unit will cuase one weighted follower to be moved toward the output shaft by the ghuide surface with the opposite weighted follower of the motor member being moved away from the output shaft. The result is gravity produces an overall clockwise torque on the motor member which causes rotation of the output shaft.
