Prototype allegedly uses modest electrical input to convert magnetic force into motion. Test rig shown in video runs on about 1.44 watts, turning at about 400 rpm. It uses neodymium permanent magnets in the stator and rotor.

However yes, you could feed back the power into itself to see if it would self run.

The loudspeaker is simply an actuator to move the stator magnet in time with the rotor. It could be possible to use mechanical means for an actuator as well. However, using a little power offers a lot more ability to control the motor. The speaker is the only device that uses external power in the test rig. In the movie at the web site, you might notice that I used an additional relay for a switch. (The relay is not needed). It was just a matter of convenience. It actually runs better without the relay, as it hinders the motor output at higher speeds.

The advantage of this design is that not much movement from the stator is needed to produce rotation in the rotor. Most of the rotation comes from the neodymium permanent magnets and this is where the motor obtains it's gain.

I have advanced plans that take this motor beyond what you see in the demo test rig. This motor is very scalable.

The test rig is not patented, however developments from it, in my opinion, would be worthy of a patent.

I'm looking for a business that might be interested in the future potential of this demo motor and it's concept in a more developed device for patent and production from my plans. I would be interested to see if they would like to talk to me about future development/production.

I'm sorry that I don't have a clear output measurement to give you at this time, wish I did, but I didn't take one. I decided back then that this motor was not the finished product, just a demo test rig that can show the magnetic principle. So I didn't pursue exact output measurements but took some movies of it in operation. My plan is to build a better multi-module motor from what I have learned, and then do output test measurements, which I believe will be much more impressive.

I have turned a small 12v DC motor with the magnet motor once during a quick test, and the motor generated a little over a volt (it probably could have turned more than one small generator), but it's RPM/output curve as a generator was not a good match for the motor, so I did not attempt to self run. (The magnet motor input at that time was about .96 watts at about 300RPM while turning the generator). I didn't have the motor adjusted for maximum output at the time.

Wish I could be more exact, but I am not a lab with a lot of test equipment at my disposal. Limited funds for this device currently. I may see my way clear in a while to perform more development and tests that are more complete on the next generation device which is partially built and close to completely developed.
