PESWiki departments are divisions of the site devoted to a particular concern. Departmentalization refers to the process of grouping activities into departments. This Departments page explains the functional departmentalization of PESWiki the grouping activities by functions performed.

This page covers all the applicable article departments. The organization of articles into departments is standardized and most topics will have the departments of Directory: and PowerPedia:.

{{Departments|Directory|Directory|The directory is composed of 'free energy' index pages, topic by topic. Promotional and objectively critical content and links relevant to the topic are appropriate. The PESWiki directory is a catalog of free energy entities in the PESWiki system which contains a group of links and/or other directories.

It specializes in linking to other web sites concerning alternative energy and categorizing those links. The PESWiki directories allow site owners to directly submit their site for inclusion, and have editors review submissions for fitness. The PESWiki directory is focused in scope, but lists websites across a wide range of categories, regions and languages. The PESWiki directory is a human-edited directory, created and maintained by editors.

At it's core, the PESWiki directory lists technologies and other inventions that move us away from fossil fuels and other planet-depleting energy sources, and toward abundance of 'free energy' that extracts inexhaustible power, such as solar, wind, geothermal, but also the less conventional sources such as zero point energy, cold fusion, magnet motors, etc. The PESWiki directory is not a search engine, and does not display lists of web pages based on keywords, instead it lists web sites by category and subcategory. The main index page is arranged in a tree. The directory tree below is for more general, categorized navigation listings of topics that are more specifically handled in the PowerPedia department.|Directory}}

{{Departments|News|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[6] is any new free energy information. This department enables the user to add 'free energy' news items of relevance in real time. Could also be used for group composition of stories. Free energy news is often reported by a variety of sources, such as newspapers, television and radio programs, wire services, and web sites. Most free energy news is investigated and presented by journalists and can be distributed to various sites via news agencies.

To be considered newsworthy for the free energy community, an event usually must have broad interest in one or more news values:

Effect (how many people were, are or will be affected?)

Timeliness (did the free energy event occur very recently?)

Revelation (is there significant new free enerfy information, previously unknown?)

Free energy news coverage traditionally begins with the "five W's and the H"—who, what, where, when, why and how.

{{Departments|PowerPedia|PowerPediaPW:PP|Powerpedia is a comprehensive encyclopedia of 'free energy' relevant subjects. An encyclopedia, encyclopaedia or (traditionally) encyclopædia, is a comprehensive written compendium that contains information on a particular branch of knowledge. The PowerPedia focuses on free energy.

The PowerPedia as we recognize it today is address the needs of researchers (not always academics), an encyclopedia that treats the subject of free energy in more depth and conveys the most relevant accumulated knowledge on the various subject or discipline within free energy. The power pedia also often includes many illustrations, as well as bibliography and statistics.

PowerPedia includes topics such as magnetic motors, gravity motors, and features of many FE inventors. The PESWiki listings will mainly discuss the topicin depth. {{Departments|Open Source Projects|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[8] (Open Sourcing) is for 'free energy' technologies that are open for anyone to develop. This is potentially one of the most powerful uses of the wiki, enabling a group to be able to collaborate in the building of the project web site. The "edit" feature enables any user to contribute and modify content. The 'recent changes' and 'watched pages' feature enables you to monitor the site to make sure changes are appropriate. The 'history' feature enables you to revert to a previous version.

{{Departments|Events|Current events|Listing of 'free energy' events such as symposia and demonstrations. Users may edit the listing to correct, update or add new listing. The free energy conferences included are those for researchers (not always academics) to present and discuss their work. Together with academic or scientific journals, free energy conferences provide an important channel for exchange of information between researchers. The scientific demonstrations events are scientific experiments carried out for the purposes of demonstrating scientific principles, rather than for hypothesis testing or knowledge gathering (although they may originally have been carried out for these purposes). The scientific demonstrations events are chosen for their combination of educational merit and entertainment value, which is often provided by dramatic phenomena.

You will find information on technology demos of prototypes, rough examples or an otherwise incomplete version of products, put together with the primary purpose of showcasing the idea, performance, method or the features of the product. This information is relevant to investors, partners, journalists or even to potential customers.

{{Departments|Store|Store|In the PESWiki Store, you as a site user may create new links to 'free energy' relevant items and services, and PES can then establish vendor relationships with the pertinent providers. If you have 'free energy' related goods or services for sale, feel free to create a link or listing for them in the store.

The PESWiki general store is located on the internet with a selection of merchandise crammed into a relatively small space where researchers from around the world come to purchase all their goods and supplies, both in stock and special order. Online shopping is the process to purchase products or services over the Internet. The PESWiki webshop is the electronic analogy of buying products or services at a bricks-and-mortar retailer or in a shopping mall. PESWiki store is popular mainly because of its speed and ease of use. Some issues of concern can include fluctuating exchange rates for foreign currencies, local and international laws and delivery methods.|Store}}

{{Departments|Classifieds|Classifieds|The PESWiki Classifieds operates on a 'leave a dollar in the kitty' honor system for those who post a listing. PESWiki classified advertising is the electronic form of advertising which is particularly common in newspapers and other periodicals.

Classified are textually based and consist of as little as the type of item being sold and contact information (eg., a telephone number to call for more information ("call 555-7777") or a email address (email "")). It can also have much more detail, such as name to contact, address to contact or visit, a detailed description of the product or products. Business opportunities use PEWSWiki classifieds to sell their services, usually employing 1-800 numbers. Classified ads are also among the tools used by many companies in recruitment for available job opportunities.

If you are wary about whether the listing will stay put during its intended duration, you could donate after each period successfully passes. Look for the 'donate' button (pending incorporation). The ad value will increase as site traffic increases. Listings should be relevant to 'free energy'. Present suggested rate: $3.00 per month.|Classifieds|

{{Departments|Directory|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[10] in a number of ways, including that it can waver from the NPV, Neutral Point of View. Promotional and objectively critical content and links relevant to the topic are appropriate. The main index page is arranged in a tree.

{{Departments|Academy|Academy|Group development of course material on 'free energy' topics, beginning with basic primers and growing from workshops to fully developed courses. The Free Energy Academy is designed to provide on-site and online courses that would be accessed for free (or at a reasonable fee). Classes range from brief and basic synopses of a particular technology on one hand, to an in-depth, lengthy course on a highly specialized topic on the other. Academies began in Plato's Athenian school of philosophy, founded in approximately 385 BC. The term is used for a variety of institutions in modern times.

PESWiki Academy is dedicated to helping others learn about alternative, clean, practical, renewable energy solutions. The PESWiki Academy is focused on computer-enhanced lessons of technology. The e-learning is delivered via a personal computer and other communications technologies. The wiki enables all users to contribute to the building of the content.

{{Departments|PeerPedia|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[13] (There was an error working with the wiki: Code[14]) model. It is a online access framework to digital scholarly material and peer-reviewed research papers, extending to other digital content that authors wish to make available to all users online.

The wiki peer review process aims to make authors meet the standards of their discipline, and of science in general. In the case of included articles, the PESWiki editors will pass the articles that are accepted for publication at a division of

The PeerPedia editors are ultimately responsible for the quality and selection of articles chosen to be published. The authors are always responsible for the content of each article. PeerPedia editors do revise and correct spelling, grammar and formatting (done by PeerPedia "Copy Editors") and controls the quality of the process.

PeerPedia editors can overview and distribute an author's work or ideas to researchers or scholars who are experts in the field (known as "referees" or "reviewers"). Referees' evaluations usually include an explicit recommendation of what to do with the article. Most recommendations are along the lines of the following:

to unconditionally accept the manuscript or proposal,

to accept it in the event that its authors improve it in certain ways,

to reject it, but encourage revision and invite resubmission,

to reject it outright.

During this process, the role of the referees is advisory, and the PESWiki editors are under no formal obligation to accept the opinions of the referees.

PeerPedia's review process is quick and takes a short time for a submitted paper to appear in "print". In addition, PeerPedia opens the ability to publish and free the process from the control by elites and personal jealousy. The PeerPedia review process also allows dissent against "mainstream" theories. Reviewers are urged to not be especially critical of conclusions that contradict their own views, nor lenient towards those that accord with them.|PeerPedia}}

{{Departments|Websites|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[15] is for GFDL websites. A website (or Web site) is a collection of web pages. If you have a 'free energy' project or theory you wish to post, but it is not intended for open sourcing, you are welcome to use this feature to establish a web presence. The free energy web pages will be accessible via HTTP, a protocol that transfers information from the website's server to display in the user's web browser.

The free energy pages of the website department will be accessed from a common root, There was an error working with the wiki: Code[16]}}

{{Departments|Library|LibraryPW:L|The PESWiki Library is where 'free energy' holdings of note may be reported. In the traditional sense, a library is a collection of books. However, with the collection of media other than books for storing information, the PESWiki is a repositories and access points for maps, prints or other documents and artworks on various storage media such as microfilm, microfiche, audio tapes, CDs, LPs, cassettes, video tapes and DVDs, and provide public facilities to access CD-ROM and subscription databases and the Internet. The PSEwiki library extends beyond the physical walls of a building, by including material accessible by electronic means, in navigating and analyzing tremendous amounts of free energy knowledge with a variety of digital tools.

Libraries incelude are:

Tribal libraries

school libraries

private libraries

corporate libraries

government libraries

academic libraries

historical society libraries

digital libraries

data libraries

picture (photograph) libraries

slide libraries

tool libraries

The PESWiki library is meant for a individual located on the campuses of colleges and universities and serve primarily the students and researchers of that and other academic institutions, as well as public and private primary and secondary schools to support the school's curriculum. Additionly, you can think of the PESWiki Research libraries as a tool intended for supporting scholarly research, and therefore maintain permanent collections and attempt to provide access to all necessary material.|Library}}

{{Departments|PAC|PAC|PESWiki's PAC section is for 'free energy' political action items. Users can post notice of activities, legislation, issues, petitions, worldwide, by country or region.

In the United States, a political action committee (or PAC) is the name commonly given to a private organized groups. The intent of the PES PAC is to urge a shift in legislation to protect the emergence and remove the suppression of new energy technologies, including such things (when scientifically validated) as magnetic motors, cold fusion, zero point energy solid state devices, and super-carburetors. PAC help elect or defeat government officials in order to promote legislation, often supporting the group's special interests.|PAC}}

{{Departments|Game|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[17] department is to build a 'free energy' computer game. The game will pursue the field of free / alternative energy. "Virtual-Reality" because part of the game requires interaction in the real world. This is a volunteer development project. Many possibilities are available, including:

"computer game" or a "PC game" : played on a personal computer.

"console game : played on a device specifically designed for the use of such, while interfacing with a standard television set.

"hand-held game" : all-in-one screen and game system.

"Video game" (or "videogame") is the catchall phrase that encompasses the aforementioned along with any game made for any other device, including, but not limited to, mobile phones, PDAs, advanced calculators, etc.|Game}}

{{Departments|Latest|There was an error working with the wiki: Code[18]' page is where you go to find a listing of the most recent developments and features added to the PESWiki site. As you create new entries worth mention, list them there to announce them to others.

Each major section of PESWiki should have it's own "latest" page where people interested in the project can go to review the recent additions to that section. For example, an open source project on a particular magnetic motor design should have a "latest" page for that project. A major directory listing, such as cold fusion, should have a "latest" page for that directory listing.|Latest}}
