Lunatic fringe conspiracy stories

Enough of the lunatic fringe conspiracy stories!! I know you check out claims of free energy devices much more thoroughly than you check out the claims made in the video. Let's concentrate on the common goal of free energy.

I have much more background in conspiracy "theories", many of which I know to be based largely in fact.
I was doing that for years before I got in to New Energy tech.

Conspiracy theories and PESWiki

I'm a big fan of peswiki and very much appreciate all the work and dedication you put into this every day. I monitor your site several times per week and encourage friends to do so as well.

But the conspiracy theory material hurts the credibility of the site. It really does. Please consider cutting back on such postings. Here is an article that points out some reasons why conspiracy thinking is actually blocking effective action:

If you have a counter argument for the key points of the JFK Jr. Assassination documentary, please present them.
I thought they were very convincing and certainly give reason for at least some kind of explanation and illumination, not just a dismissal because it is called a "conspiracy".
I was studying conspiracy stuff for longer than I've been immersed in clean energy research. In many ways, standing up for those unpopular points of view is what trained me to have the balls to stand up against big oil et al who poo poo free energy.

Keep this trash off PESWiki

I read the PESWiki web site to find out about interesting ideas and to read about marvelous machinery. Your article on JFK jr. is totally out of place. I have no interest in your liberal, paranoid-delusional thinking. Please keep this kind of trash out of the web site.

Did you view the video and consider the evidence? It is very relevant to understanding the forces we are up against in unveiling clean energy solutions for the planet.
I am hardly a liberal. I am very close to Ron Paul in my political views, and actually headed a drive to draft him for candidacy in the 2004 election, before running myself when he declined to run. [1] (http://web.archive.org/web/20040806232944/www.paul2004.com/RonsResponse/index.html)

You know what? You are the lunatic fringe, and you deserve this video

This is typical of PESwiki. I've been frustrated since this site was made, because it seemed to have such nice information on novel energy schemes which even wikipedia has trouble covering, a vibrant community (or at least a few obsessive members), and a grasp of some of the lesser known technologies out there; mixed in with the utter scamartist drek that appeals to those who have given up all auspices of skeptical, rational, scientific thought. This could be a place of news, updated information, insider details on the thousands of green startups and inventions around the world. A place that investigates scientifically whether EEstor is actually full of shit, or whether they're just as reputable as A123, and will be ready in mid 2008 with product. I weep for what could be.

And you're hurting the community. You could do a lot of good for a world which badly needs to be informed about alternative energy. A world which doesn't have time to waste on attempting to 'invert a vacuum and harvest the ether therein'. An environmental movement whose mainstream lacks even basic physics knowledge, and can't sort the wheat from the chaff. You are a net drag on their understanding. Every time I'm trying to explain Peak Oil or Global Warming and I get the "We can make free fuel from water easily, but the oil company conspiracy kills anyone who promotes it..." response, you know who I blame? PESwiki.

Most of us believe that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, or at least extraordinary amounts of explanation. But here, credibility is worth just 10 bonus points. Scam artists are asked to self-evaluate themselves. Conventional understanding of physics is completely rejected, in favor of an infantile "open mind."

Few on this site are capable of designing an experiment which violates even 400 year old Newtonian laws of physics repeatably. When you deprecate the giants who stood before you instead of respectably standing no their shoulders, and you fixate on claimed experiments that noone has ever been able to repeat, you dumben down the discourse. You become moronic, insisting that a perpetual motion machine is possible after literally millions have failed. You lose your critical thinking skills. And so it's not a surprise to see people disregarding history as they disregard science routinely here. Anyone who criticizes someone putting forth information is reflexively attacked, even if that information is utter bullshit.

All you hobbyists on the forums? You could be real inventors. You could be the guy that gets a 6-stroke linear free piston multifuel engine/alternator working at 30% higher efficiency than current ICEs. You could be the guy that first implements community-scale wind power on man-haulable carbon fiber Isotruss beams. You could be the one who popularizes a slim electric trike with a hundred mile range, bike lane access, and full suspension. You could be the one who finds the right species of adaptable oil-bearing algae that produces loads of diesel in a desert tank.

These things are entirely possible - and thus, since they're not generally recognised as impossible, you guys ignore them in favor of worshipping a distrust of proven experimental evidence, by constructing steampunk labors of love to finally prove that every physicist who ever lived was wrong and you are right.

Your forum's got a thread involving why the Star Visitors inventions(including free energy) are being supressed by the secret, all-powerful illuminati... sorry, Bilderberg group

How is GWB assassinating JFK Jr any less credible?
