I'm Becoming a Dealer

I just wanted to say thanks for all the work you do covering the alternate energy community. You are a great source of information. Thanks in particular for the interview on the Pulstar Plugs spark plug replacements. I'm arranging to become a dealer for them and test them in my car. Love your podcasts (http://FreeEnergyNow.net).

My plugs aren't easy to get to

I listened to the radio interview [...]. I have a modified performance vehicle so I am interested in better performance and more HP.

I did not modify the physical components of the engine but did some other things like cat back exhaust, tornado fuel saver, ground wire kit, reprogrammed the ECU and installed a K&N air filter.

For the most part I increased the HP on my car by roughly 15-20% which gives me about that in increased mileage when I am in cruise control on the freeway driving long distances. I currently have NGK plugs in the car which are aftermarket. OEM spec was on the order of 16-24, now I am getting around 20-28 on average. Those pulstar plugs I feel will give me an extra 5% HP and an increase in 0-60 for not a lot of money. The only thing that worries me is the reliability of the plugs. I am not a mechanic and in order to take out the plugs the mechanic has to take off the cover and disassemble the upper assemply which can take a few hours. If I buy those plugs and one of them craps out on me I will be very pissed. Not due to the cost of replacing them but do to the labor involved. He said they will ship out the plugs in a hurry to replace them if they fail but what kind of reinbursement are they going to give me for having to pay my mechanic again if there is a problem?

On an older car where it is easy to change the plugs I dont have any problem but on newer computerized engines where most people have their vehicles serviced by ther dealership it might not be the best idea.

They have only been in business for about six months, I am going to wait a little while before I take those steps.

I am going to have my father put the plugs in his car and see what it does for him. His vehicle is stock and he drives a lot so it may be a good idea for him.

By the way, they have something called "Direct Hits" for high performance applications on the pulstar page. I dont know why he didnt mention that in the interview or what the deal is with those. I dont think I need those for my car since I am not running methanol or nitrous.
