Home Generation as a subdirectory ?
Perhaps it's wise to create Home Generation as a subdirectory in "Sustainable Living" or something ? Because i'm not really sure PES focuses on this, haven't changed it myself. But if so, you might wanna change it, and there are some other additions you may wanna add too:
- Some (indiginous) house design's such as the houses the Diola-people in Senegal/Guinea-Bissau (focuses on water preservation), houses in Timbouctou (Mali) (focuses on cooling the houses), Moorish houses in Andalusian Spain and in the country itself (focuses on cooling too), the passive heating systems of the Norwegian/Finnish can be implemented too, ... Altough low-tech, the houses cooling systems are still quite ingenious; consider it ...
- External links: add Global Ecovillage Network-link, and wikipedia.org-ecovillage/ecopolis link
PS: Altough perhaps far-fetched, but permaculture can be added to "Sustainable Living" too. (see wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture) for those wanna know what i'm talking about)
Cheers,
Permaculture home generation designs
Allot of practical inventions derived from the permaculture movement should be included too. I don't now of any sites, but if you look at the ideas given by e.g. the guys from Permaculture pamphlets (you can find link on wikipedia's permaculture page), there can be even better design's created for houses. Some ideas can be found from such tv-programs as "it's not easy being green (in 10 episodes)" where installations for heatening, ... can be found.
Flywheel energy storage energy system for homes
Aldough hydrogen is described as a core technology for home-electricity production, flywheel energy storage is not. Perhaps you might add it.
