I think this should use some of Viktor Schaubergers insights....

Daudrich, the German scientist who wrote about the concept comes close to Schauberger's concepts. Certainly the tower itself should be configured in a way that it will support the formation of a vortex, like we see in twisters. That should make things more efficient by a wide margin. - Sepp
