Technical clarifications

Sterling, You may want to remove Sheldon's schematic until it is corrected. The two batteries DO NOT share a common ground (negative) connection. The battery being charged is connected as follows: (+) connection to the CATHODE of 1N4007 and the (-) connect to the (+) connection of the first battery.

Actually the version I did works better at capturing the inductive energy. I have corrected it, however and sent it up as bedini2.jpg

Typos & corrections

In point #3, you say that the final destination of the wire is the Collector. Actually, it's the EMITTER.

Sterling, please correct the url for my kickstart-circuit. It is as follows: kickstart_solidstate.gif (Marcus)

Other Notes

In your comments about the batteries, you suggest that an endless rotation of the batteries WILL demonstrate that the motor energy is coming from somewhere else. Over the years, these kind of statements have lead many people to give up on the experiment prematurely. The ability of the machine to exhibit this effect is dependent on the BATTERIES working properly (ie. using undamaged batteries). Even brand new batteries may take a number of back and forth cycles (and a few recharges from a regular battery charger) before they become sufficiently "conditioned" to exhibit the endless rotation capability. This phenomenon is the END RESULT of the system working properly, but NEVER falls into the lap of the impatient tinkerer. (Peter L.)

This is quite false. While the circuit recaptures SOME of the energy in the coils, it never re-captures ALL of it. That is QUITE IMPOSSSIBLE. There are circuit losses and rotational losses.(Sheldon)

Sheldon, thank you for changing the schematic. The purpose of this project is to make ACCURATE information about John Bedini's work available to the public. What I have stated in the first paragragh is absolutely true, regardless of your disbelief. I do agree that less MEASURABLE energy is recovered from the system than is put in by the first battery. However, when this experimental circuit is built and run properly, a NEW PHENOMENON begins to appear in the second battery which defies the measurements. The second battery begins to charge in less and less time and with a denser charge. I have personally witnessed test set-ups built by John run for MONTHS in the manner described above, where the system was charging 4 batteries on the back end and running from 1 battery on the front. The "gain mechanism" in the system more than makes up for all of the classical losses you refer to. If you want to learn something new, instead of quoting your "book knowledge" at me, (which I know very well) then run the experiment! (Peter L.)

Other comments about the page

I would suggest a large Farad capacitor be placed across the terminals of the battery which powers the transistor. This would allow current to flow more rapidly through the transistor when energizing the coil.

Does this qualify as perpetual motion?

Hi, i'm new to this technology so can you clear something up for me. Does thi actuall produce more power than it consumes? If so couldn't it be built on a massive scale to create useable power?

Answer
At the outset of the project, we hoped it would tap into radiant/aetheric energy; but three months later, with numerous replication attempts, we conclude that the plans as presented here do not result in over unity.
