To win the money, all you have to do is fit an HHO system to a late model car (already in good condition and tune) so that a consistent 25% or greater improvement in fuel economy is obtained and maintained for six months, without causing any damage to the engine. Oh, and pay a $5K USD entrance fee. As of October 2008, no takers.

We know that all vehicles since 1996 have on-board computers that are designed to deflect any changes in air intake and require futzing with O2 sensors in order for the engines to work properly with the hydroxy generators.
A University in New Zealand will do the installations? Hydroxy generators also work better with a combination of frictionless lubricants and also that each vehicle is a "custom build" due to Internal Combustion Engine "gotchas" by the vehicle manufacturers.
And why a car and not a truck or a diesel vehicle? Is there a stipulation for gas vehicles only or can diesel rigs be included?
In order to insure success, many of the manufacturers of hydroxy systems require certified techs to do the installs. Will that requirement be waived to insure this challenge fails?"
