All-Magnet Motor Replica Holds Constant Speed

On Dec. 26, 2008, YouTube user ubozkurt1 posted a video of what appears to be a test jig showing just two magnets in a rotor to demonstrate the concept presented in the famous Perendev all-magnet motor.

In this video, ubozkurt1 gives the rotor a push by hand to kick-start the rotor. It takes several tries to get close to what appears to be a resonant point in a speed which then appears to be maintained at a constant speed by the magnetic interactions alone. He then stops the rotation by hand and starts it again with the same effect.

Off to the side, you can see a rotor that more closely resembles the Perendev design seen ubiquitously on the web, and featured here at PESWiki (we own perendev.com, which forwards to our page).

Lightrider, who is expert at analyzing such video footage, analyzed both the video and audio components of this video this past week and concluded that there is indeed a stable speed achieved almost immediately and maintained until manually stopped.

We don't know of any replications of this effect, but if there is not any trickery involved in this video, it would constitute a validation of the Perendev all-magnet motor.

Stefan Hartmann, of OverUnity.com, said that the replicator apparently is Turkish. "Somebody of my forum speaking Turkish language emailed him; and he said, that it worked, but that he is only an amateur tinkering with this stuff." He's not posted any more videos and has not communicated further that we know of.

This probability is more than likely...

Still, the graphical analysis of the first part is intriguing, apparently no change in speed after it quickly reaches a constant velocity...
It is conceivable that 20 seconds seems more than necessary to observe a small deceleration (that is not observed)...
but a minute or more would be preferable... if we are taking into account the possible analysis errors.

Always take into consideration when reading this that mistakes are possible due to the quality, duration of the sample and video manipulations of this analysis.

-Audio analysis had greater accuracy than the graphical analysis (preceding analysis)
-The accuracy of measurement is about 0.01 seconds
-The audio analysis was done on the second segment lasting 41 seconds.
-Mobile rotation produced a sound to some point in its rotation
-These sound have a consistency average cycle from beginning to end within 0.01 seconds...
-Once the mobile reach a certain speed (and this very quickly, < 1 seconds), this speed becomes constant.
-Therefore no acceleration or deceleration from beginning to end of 41 seconds

As has been said before, several questions remain...
how to explains such a phenomenon?

Several of these "graphs" from these analyses (audio and video) can be done if there is need.

Unfortunately, without additional video, this video may lead to more questions than answers.

As sound analysis is much more significant, I have not included the results of the video analysis for now. It is possible to present evidence of this analysis with a much more scientific approach, but a picture is often more rapid to understand and more accessible to a larger number of people. Without further videos to support this analysis, it would be wise not to make conclusions too quickly.
