Acceptance to Physics of Plasmas confirms LPP is hot! - One point eight billion degrees. Yes, that's billion with a "b," LPP's team received word February 27th that a paper describing our achievement of fusion reactions from ions confined at energies equivalent to over 1.8 billion degrees C was accepted by Physics of Plasmas, "the most highly cited journal devoted fully to plasma physics." Steorn: behind the scenes of free energy dreams [Home page feature] - YouTube subscriber Eltimple has uploaded a set of videos apparently culled from behind the scenes of Steorn during those heady times. The best one by far is a Queen-flavoured musical extravaganza that stitches together a lot of before, during and after shots of the Orbo demo from the Dublin Waterways centre of just over two years ago. Looking for Comment Moderators - The volume of negativity has gotten out of hand in the comments, so I'm asking for volunteers to help moderate the comments. I don't mind honest skepticism stated respectfully, but crass negativity, rudeness, unfounded allegations, etc., will no longer be permitted. (PESN; February 24, 2012)

Water-Fueled Engine by a Friend of Kapanadze - Two videos show a Russian group apparently powering a stand-alone engine on water. They drink from a bottle of water then pour the liquid into what appears to be a fuel tank; then start up the engine. As they hold a cup at the clear exhaust, it collects water, which they then drink. (; February 18, 2012)

Interstellar Superhighway Boosts Light Speed Limit - The density of the aether or the medium in which light propagates is said to be greater near large masses, and reduced in deep space. This may allow for a boost in the speed of light between stars, and a cosmic super highway that allows for fast interstellar transportation. Now we just need free energy technology to power our spaceships! (PESN and BeforeItsNews; February 8, 2012)

Postscript: Alex, Stop Snubbing Free Energy - Continuing yesterday's rant, Sterling compares the exotic free energy researchers to the ragtag band of soldiers in U.S. Revolutionary War, urging Alex Jones to step in now. Sterling also points out that free energy enables a literal worldwide Declaration of Independence from the powers that be, who are rendered obsolete and irrelevant thereby. Promote solutions that empower people, not fear mongering, which empowers the bullies. (PESN; February 4, 2012)

Alex Jones Snubs Free Energy - In yesterday's interview, Alex Jones's guest, Fritz Springmeier, answers his question about solutions to the conspiratorial New World Order, by talking about free energy technologies coming forward that provide a ray of hope and physical remedy; but Alex' response totally misses the point, consistent with his ongoing ignoring of the subject. Cold Fusion is Here, It's Real, and Its Time has Come - Steve Windisch summarizes recent validations of the science of cold fusion, including Hagelstein and Swartz's January 31 demonstration at MIT; NASA's interest and involvement; and a review of the science in general. He also reviews some of they present key players, including Rossi and Arata. He looks at the changes cold fusion will bring to society. (OpEdNews; February 2, 2012)

Chevy Volt's Superbowl Commercial Employs Aliens - [Cute, but very wrong. The Volt is hardly advanced -- certainly nothing compared to that flying saucer that harnesses energy from the environment, thus negating the need for plug-in or gas; not to mention its ability to FLY and change trajectories instantaneously without imposing lethal G-forces on its occupants; capabilities the off-budget, black-ops have had and have been keeping from us for decades. -- Sterling] (Inhabitat; February 4, 2012)

We're Seeking Topic Specialists here at PESWiki - We would like to get a topic specialist for each topic, ranging from solar to ocean thermal on the conventional spectrum, or cold fusion to electromagnetic overunity on the unconventional spectrum. You would help fine tune the topic directory pages, featuring the best technologies, and organizing the material in a user-friendly way. It has become too much for one person to do. • Wireless Transmission of Electricity >
Wireless power could revolutionize highway transportation - A Stanford University research team has designed a high-efficiency charging system that uses magnetic fields to wirelessly transmit large electric currents between metal coils placed several feet apart. The long-term goal of the research is to develop an all-electric highway that wirelessly charges cars and trucks as they cruise down the road. (Spacemart; February 3, 2012)

Renewable "Green" Energy Yields Very Poor Results - A 1 GW wind farm would require 500 windmills, each producing 2 MW -- assuming the farm operates at full capacity, which doesn't happen continually in reality. Since wind turbines must be spaced apart to maximize production, a 1 GW farm needs from 48,000 to 64,000 acres of land (75 to 100 square miles). In contrast, a 1 GW gas-fired plant needs about 10 to 15 acres. (MadIsle / Newsmax; January 30, 2012)
