In the nine years I've been covering exotic free energy technologies, a theme of the industry has been the perpetual lack of adequate funding to properly try promising ideas, test prototypes, develop and improve prototypes, then engineer them for production. The thematic issue has been, "if only we had enough funding." To their credit, it is amazing how much they've been able to accomplish despite the dearth of funds, using their resourcefulness and sheer dedication, borrowing from friends, and selling off assets or taking a second mortgage on their home in order to pursue their passion to help the planet. Nevertheless their progress is slow due to these limitations.
Who wants to be a trillionaire?
Now we have finally realized the primary culprit for this lack of funds.
The Energy industry in general spends just 0.3% of their budget on research and development. That is ten times less than the 3.1% average of all industries. Compare that to the 25% that the communications industry spends on R&D. [1] Look how fast communications are advancing, too.
No wonder free energy technologies have floundered.
Please contact anyone you can think of to get this changed. The Energy industry should be ashamed of themselves for having such little foresight, and for their ego that thinks everything that can be invented has already been invented.
This is additionally frustrating when you consider the wealth that the Energy industry is sitting on. They are myopically squandering the future for the sake of living high in the present.
