Earth Bag Building Method (Interview) - The Cal-Earth bags enable you to build a home mostly from the dirt under your feet, mixed with ~10% concrete and 10% water, with a great deal of artistic freedom in wall shape; using arch construction, eliminating the need for a separate roof. Makes home building far more affordable and renewable while giving you thermal mass to save on heating/cooling costs. (PESWiki; Sept. 30, 2009) (Comment)

Noble gas motor update - John Rohner provides an update on their motor, which would cost about as much as a regular motor, but would use virtually no fuel. They're in process of preparing manufacturing lines for when they're ready to begin mass producing, though they're still early in the testing phase. (PESN; Sept. 21, 2009) (Comment)

Airplane almost hits ship kite - Now that more and more ships are using skysail kites which sometimes fly as high as 300 meters (~1000 feet) to help tow them along to conserve on fuel, a dangerous situation is posed to airplanes by both the kites and the tether. (Examiner/PESN; Sept. 18, 2009)

  • Featured: Weather Control > Weather Rangers >
Weather Rangers to the rescue - Who you gonna call when you have a nasty, persistent drought? David Wells' weather modification researchers have been fine tuning their skills. Alberto Feliciano in Puerto Rico appears to have dissolved this season's tropical and hurricane storms, including Ana, Erika and Bill. Their recent focus: restoring rain in Texas, perhaps a bit too much. (PESN; Sept. 14, 2009) (Comments)

Rocket Stoves Rock - I went camping last night and was very impressed with the Grover Rocket Stove my dad brought along. While our traditional camping methods consumed copious amounts of firewood, the Rocket Stove used just a small amount to produce focused heat more reliably and with very little smoke. Poll regarding the Magniwork power generator - We've been calling it a scam, but is it? What's your experience? Haven't bought the plans. • Won't get plans; a scam. • Got the plans; looks bogus. • Got the plans; haven't tried building. • Plans not clear enough. • Built it; doesn't tap free energy. • It's powering stuff, but not house. • It's powering my house completely. (PES Network; Aug. 16, 2009)

ERR Fluxgenerator by Noah's Ark Research Foundation - Inventor, James B. Schwartz of the Philippines, has come up with a device that allegedly puts out six kilowatts of electricity from the surroundings, using a solid state arrangement in a panel made from "left-handed material" -- Aluminum and Bismuth interwoven with coils -- tying into the Earth's frequencies. Kapanadze Free Energy Generator - Georgia Republic inventor, Tariel Kapaladze, claims to have invented a 5 kilowatt free energy generator. In a demonstration video, the device appears to produce copious amounts of energy from no visible source. Though it appears to be extracting energy from the aether, some people think it could be a matter of getting energy from the electrical grid through inductive coupling. (PESWiki; July 9, 2009)

World Thorium Fuel (WTF) Cadillac concept car - For the 100th anniversary of Cadillac, Loren Kulesus designed a car built to last another 100 years on the same fuel source (meaning never stopping for fuel). The proposed design also calls for 24 wheels -- six per "wheel" -- and a flexible frame for better handling. Will we ever see nuclear vehicles, running on the cleaner and safer Thorium fuel?
