There is a statement on this site "The fuel cost for an electric car is one quarter that of a gasoline car" I do no see how this can possibly be the case, given that electrical energy usually costs much more than any directly combusted fossil fuel, domestic fule prices are shown here www.confusedaboutenergy.com for the UK but wil be similar in the US. In fact according to car fuel cost electricity cost 3 times gasoline. can someone explane the statement on the site?
