PESWiki Tutorial - Welcome!

PESWiki is a collaboratively edited resource to which you can contribute. This tutorial series will give you the basic skills and knowledge to be a capable contributor to PESWiki. This will help you become a PESWikian. Each page will discuss a useful feature of the Wiki software, a piece of style and content guidance, information about the PESWiki community, or important PESWiki policies and conventions.

Keep in mind that this is a tutorial, not a policy page or an extensive manual. If you want the details, you can find throughout the tutorial some links to other PESWiki pages for more information.

A brief table of these topics can be found at PESWiki:Quick guide.

The following pages will discuss general features of PESWiki, style issues and content guidance, information about the PESWiki community, or important PESWiki policies and conventions. You don't need to look at them now, but you can if you want. To read them as you go along, you can open them in a separate window.

There will also be spaces to practice what you're learning. These links are "sandbox" pages where you can practice what you're learning. Take advantage of the chance to try things out and play around. Nobody will get upset if you screw up an experiment here, so play around and see what you can do.
