World's largest solar thermal power tower opens in Mojave Desert
I've had a couple of people sending me info about this. It is a significant development in renewable energy.

Simple Ways to Clean the Air Around You with Dr. Group
I watched an excellent video interview the other day on the Alex Jones show.
Dr. Group's suggestions include:
- Three plants per room, recommended by local nursery, to produce oxygen and remove toxins.
- Air filter
- Switch cleaning supplies to organic/natural
- Remove chemical-based air fresheners
The best bathroom air fresheners Cheri and I have found, by far, which happens to be natural, is "Air Scense: Naturally Refreshes & Neutralizes the Air with essential oils" from http://citrasolv.com Not only does it smell good, it seems to mask well the unpleasant odors of a bathroom. One squirt of the spray mist does the job. No aerosols.
You can get it from Amazon (we get a commission from this link).
Here's the interview:

More photos of Gilman from RAR Energia
RAR Energia posted a couple of new photos of their Gilman facility on their website, dated February 14. The're not much ahead of the photos posted a week earlier. But their design is one amazing quest.
I don't know what the total power output of this gravity motor is supposed to be. It seems earlier they said it would be 30 kilowatts. But I'm guessing it will be substantially more than this or they would not be spending this much money on what would only be an interesting science project without a practical (cost-effective) application. With all that steel and labor involved, it might break even cost-wise if it could produce 3-30 MW. And the size of their shaft is consistent with that level of power.

Les Kraut's Instructions for a Crystal Battery (Generator): Just Add Water
On my way up to the airport to attend the Evolve Expo, I stopped by Les Kraut's place in Spring City, just north of here, and got an update from him on his work with crystal batteries to power an LED light. As far as I can tell, this is an open source design, instigated primarily by John Bedini.
Simply put, you make a small copper container, insert a rod of magnesium and fill the space between the magnesium and copper with a solution of Borax, which forms a crystalline matrix. Connect the magnesium and copper to a simple joule thief circuit [Google it], and as long as the crystal solution is hydrated, it produces a small amount of electricity.
It is not galvanic. In other words, the metals do not deteriorate as an essential element in the process of generating the electricity. John says he has one that still works after 20 years.
It's not really a battery (energy storage), but is a generator (energy generation) that makes batteries obsolete for this application, because instead of storing and releasing energy, it just generates it at the point of use, in place of a battery.
Les has replicated John Bedini's design, and has now prepared a set of instructions of how to construct it. He calls the file earthshipElectrics.pdf because for him, this could provide easy-to-implement, permanent lighting in an Earth Ship home. You would occasionally water the lights along with the plants.
