On January 6-7, 2013, the Tesla Science Foundation will be holding the first of what they plan to be an annual conference commemorating the passing of Nikola Tesla in the New Yorker Hotel on January 6, 1943.

They have reserved the entire 33nd floor, where Tesla resided.

Sunday, January 6, will focus on the "spirit", whereas Monday, January 7, will focus on "science".

In addition to lectures on various Tesla-related topic, "A meeting time will be dedicated to bringing together the various Tesla-related organizations around the world and we will discuss how we can work together to achieve our common goals."

"Additionally, we have planned a trip to Tesla's lab at Wardenclyffe on Long Island as well as a walking tour (weather permitting) of the places Tesla frequented and worked in New York City."
