While a typical motor oscillates electrical current to the electro-magnet, causing rotation, the Kundel Motor physically oscillates a permanent magnet.

Abstract 
A motor includes a rotor supported for rotation about an axis, at least one pair of rotor magnets spaced angularly about the axis and supported on the rotor, at least one reciprocating magnet, and an actuator for moving the reciprocating magnet cyclically toward and away from the pair of rotor magnets, and consequently rotating the rotor magnets relative to the reciprocating magnet.

"Basically, my motor is a very simple magnetic cog, which uses as few as three magnet poles locked together by their magnetic fields. The magnets are in a trap, cog / like a gear's teeth (magnetic field) will always cause the other gear to move. The rotation of the magnets causes reciprocation and vise-versa. The speed of the rotation increases without adding more energy, even with a two pound flywheel. The motor's switch is converting the DC in, into AC phased to the rotation -8 degrees off the rotors rotation. Actually the motor requires less electricity the faster it goes; the faster the current oscillates the the voice coil, the less the amps required / AC. The Rotor is on the edge of balance / unbalance but controlling were the energy (reciprocation) is added to the phase of the rotation,... I've created a constant state of instability in which the rotor can never resolve."

"I have not answered the OU question because I have no proof of OU at this time. With that being said I look at it this way; The principles of the idea are extremely simple and the design is limitless. This is only the second version with off the shelf magnets and a home made voice coil. The rotor is being driven by two small magnets 0.75" OD, 0.25" thick. With those two small reciprocating magnets I'm running a 11" fan 950 RPM's pulsing 9.5 watts (with a 0.275+ wobble to the fan) The fan mounted on the motor it came with 1,050 RPM's using 24 watts. I'm working on several applications but they wouldn't make sense until you seen how the next generation of the motor is designed, which I 'm not at liberty to divulge at this time.
