From PESWiki
SkyBuilt Power has patented the Mobile Power Station (MPS), which uses rugged shipping containers, or other off-the-shelf frameworks as a foundation for made-to-order designs for quick deployment in off-grid applications.
This is a revolutionary, plug-and play, rapidly deployable, mobile, hybrid solar and wind power system. It can provide power in hours and run for years with very low maintenance and minimal operating costs. It is ideal for disaster relief, Homeland Security, commercial, military, and intelligence applications in any climate worldwide.
- "Use renewable energy, such as solar, wind, fuel cells, and micro-hydro power, with or without fuel-based systems, on or off the grid. Our power, engineering, business, and other experts help you to cut costs, increase reliability, lower maintenance and logistical tails; and gain environmental benefits." (http://skybuilt.com)
- "Like the PC that revolutionized the computer industry and made computers easier to use, the MPS can do the same thing world wide, for renewable energy." -- President and CEO David Muchow

About
The MPS is self-contained in its own freight container or other housing, or on a trailer or skid. It produces 500W to 150MW of clean, green power. It can integrate various energy sources, ranging from green energy such as solar, wind, and micro hydro; to fuel-based power, such as diesel, propane, natural gas or JP-8 generators. Smaller systems can set up in hours and run for years with no fuel, and virtually no maintenance or logistics. It can be remotely controlled and pay for itself in several years, depending on the amount of sun and wind on site. It dramatically cuts fuel, labor and maintenance costs compared to diesel generators and other fuel-based systems, while increasing power reliability.
