  • Vortex Network News Interview - The Searl effect is based on magnetic fields that generates a continual motion of magnetized rollers around magnetized rings (also called plates) producing electric energy and, under certain conditions, an anti-gravity effect that can be used for propulsion. Good news - the magnetizer (500KiloWatt SEG Printer Magnetizer and major electrical bus panel) is almost done, we are just waiting now for the buffer unit. Progress is good, and when this is done we will be able to magetize the plates and roller sets.

According to all accounts, 1968 was the height of Searl's achievements with his levity discs. Its development took place in secret and secluded areas of the countryside with a small team of dedicated supporters. Their efforts resulted in an agile and maneuverable craft that was remotely controlled by a local network of ham radio operators during 1960s and 1970s. However these flights did not go unnoticed, thousands of witnesses reported seeing the "Warminster Thing" that rattled rooftops, dropped pigeons that got caught in its way and traumatized unsuspecting bystanders; John Searl recounts in 2008 that 1978 was the last year of test flights.

  • Videos posted March 26, 2007 at YouTube by Terry Moore demonstrate "the original 'mock-up', but with aluminium sleeves on the rollers, which increases the electron flow and the magnetic effect, such that with just an exciter voltage of 7.5 volts, we are able to spin the rollers at 200 rpm, without them flying off the ring!"

Replications

Searl et al

Searl and his team are presently involved in replicating what Searl had in the 1960s. They have gone as far as replicating the roller-around-the-ring effect, but they have not yet replicated the generation of electricity nor anti-gravity.

Meyers et al

On Feb. 22, 2007, Sterling D. Allan wrote:

I have an associate, Welton Meyers (involved heavily with him during my PerenTech / Mike Brady days that predated PES Network; he was also involved with the PES Network launch; Meyers is the one who first got me heavily interested/involved in alt energy in early 2002), who claims to have been on a team that built a magnet motor which, when it started running lifted off the bench and would have gone through the ceiling had not one of the guys reach up and grabed it by the disconnect lever, bringing it back down to the ground. I can't recall if that motor was a Searl variant. I tried to phone him today to get clarification, but he's away for the day.

Elsewhere, I have written:

It was also during that time (1983) that he [Welton] built a magnetic motor along with Bill Cope and an inventor who said he had been involved with Tesla. The day after they announced that they were ready to open the technology to a public offering, the laboratory was raided, their equipment smashed, and their inventor was threatened at gun point to leave the country, which he did. That inventor had also been involved with John Searl and witnessed his flying saucer technology. (Ref)
