End Suppression of New Energy Inventions - NEC member, Gary Vesperman, has posted a petition calling for the U.S. Government to end its decades long suppression of new energy inventions. The U.S. Patent Office should declassify 5000 energy patents and review them for possible support by the Department of Energy. (Change.org; March 29, 2010)

Poll regarding the Magniwork power generator - We've been calling it a scam, but is it? What's your experience? Haven't bought the plans. • Won't get plans; a scam. • Got the plans; looks bogus. • Got the plans; haven't tried building. • Plans not clear enough. • Built it; doesn't tap free energy. • It's powering stuff, but not house. • It's powering my house completely. (PES Network; Aug. 16, 2009)

Poll: Do you think an all-magnet motor (no electrical input) is possible? - We've posted a poll to get your input on this question, with the following answer options: - Impossible - Maybe - Quite sure - Someone I trust says they've built/seen one - I've personally built or seen one. Comment as you like. (PES Network via 99Polls.com; May 30, 2009)

What's your take on Mylow and his magnet motor? Oct. 20, 2008: Free Energy?
- http://www.buzzdash.com/?page=buzzbite&BB_id=124329 - Will there someday be a device that provides free, unlimited energy?
- 69% "yes it's possible"
- 31% "no, never"
Actually, the poll question I submitted is quite different from what BuzzDash edited this to. You can see the original poll at PESN.com. We define "free energy" as containing a wide array of possibilities, including solar, wind, geothermal, tide, on the conventional end, and magnet motors, zero point energy, cold fusion, on the non-conventional end of the spectrum.
The wording of our poll was very deliberate: "Will a portable 24/7 'free energy' device come before society crashes?" Note the key words "portable" and "24/7", which rule out solar, wind, geothermal, tide, and other conventional sources. That question is much more interesting than the one BuzzDash edited this down to.
The answers we provide to choose from: - Yes - Hopefully - Probably not - No, only for new society - No such thing
We also posted the poll at the bottom of the pages at PESWiki.com, which features many such modalities, both conventional and non-conventional.
Ironically today, two stories emerged, both of which would suggest a "yes" answer to our question as well as the watered-down one posted here at BuzzDash.
