A magnetic motor (or magnet motor) is a device which converts power of or relating to or caused by magnetism (e.g., "magnetic forces") into mechanical force and motion, with no other input. It usually provides rotary mechanical motion. The machines that utilizes the properties of a magnet for mechanical energy.

Witnesses

Conventional physics says that it is "impossible" for magnets to provide a primary energy source. Yet thousands of researchers worldwide have been pursuing the task of building a working magnet motor. Many claim to have achieved this objective. None has reached the marketplace yet.

Evidence that this is so is lacking. With the electromagnetic version emerging, the all-magnet version has essentially been tabled. Millions have seen a video of the Perendev magnet motor produced in Feb. 2003.

  • Steorn Magnet Motor Technology - Company has selected a jury of 12 scientists with high academic qualifications to review existing data, then design testing procedure, test, and publish the results; to solidify the credentials of a radical, new energy approach. Unfortunately their first public demonstration was deferred for "technical difficulties".
  • Mac McCarthy Magnet Motor - Mac McCarthy claims to have an all-magnet motor (no electrical or other fuel input) prototype ready to launch into the process of engineering for production. He is looking for partners and funding.
  • Skateboard Turbo Trucks -- Powered by Magnets (http://pesn.com/2006/09/13/9500235_Skateboard_Turbo_Trucks/) - James Morris is introducing his axle power assist magnet technology via the skateboard industry.   • Mike x's CD Magnet Motor - On March 30, Mike x posted a video to YouTube showing a CD with magnets attached on its surface, spinning with just one rotating stator magnet to keep it going. This is an all-magnet motor, with no electrical input. He's presently working on repeating the effect. (PESWiki; April 2, 2008)
  • Steorn Forum Members Post Their Own Magnet Motor Demo Video - A couple of forum members have been kicking around ideas for how to build an all-magnet motor with no other motive force. One of them shot a video showing acceleration of the device, but he doesn't seem to realize what he's accomplished. (PESWiki; Jan. 5, 2008)

  • Calloway Magnet Motor Open Source Project - After two decades of finding out what won't work, Robert H. Calloway says he is ready to divulge how to build an operational all-magnet motor. Ends up being an intentional wild goose chase.
  • Cycclone Magnet Engine SCAM - All-permanent-magnet engine by U.S. company with R&D lab in Australia. October 2003 TV footage shows demo prototype in action. Company claims to be building a prototype that can be fitted to an automobile.
  • Dennis Lee -- the Enigma - perhaps the most controversial figure in the field of free energy, bar none. Some consider him an energy savior, others, a shyster.
