Overview

"Capital Max, Inc. is an Investment Advisor whose mission is to add long term value without taking undue risk. We are based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with outside advisors in Europe and Asia. We are registered with the S.E.C. under CRD # 137539.

"We provide discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management services for private clients with minimum liquid assets of $500,000, a minimum net worth of $2.5mn, and annual income in excess of $300,000, and institutions qualified as “accredited investors” under Rule 501 of Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933.

"Our expertise in Clean Energy equity investment goes back many years, rooted in our C.E.O. Franck Prissert’s background as a Chemical Engineer. In addition, since 2005, we have been advising/managing a couple of dedicated funds, the largest being Palatine Energies Renouvelables, registered with the French A.M.F. The smaller one is the Cayman based Europa New Energy Fund. Please note neither are registered with the S.E.C.

"Our objective is simple. We aim to deliver long term alpha, derived from what we consider to be a societal change in the way the World looks at Energy, and by and large at the Depletion of Natural Resources. However, we also aim to do so with a relatively low beta. In other words, we try to achieve a positive return with relatively low volatility.

"In order to accomplish this, we have implemented a pragmatic strategy, as opposed to “pure play” or “pure green”. We look at any company in the Clean/Alternative/Renewable Energy food chain, from Producer to Consumer, to include Nuclear and companies with “dirty” legacy business, as long as they are working on “clean” solutions. As a result our portfolios, while cyclical in nature, are well diversified across economic sectors, with 60% in North American stocks and 40% in the rest of the world. At the conservative end, we own some 20% in Utilities. At the riskier end, we own no more than 20% in purer, smaller companies.

"Investing in this emerging industry entails a high degree of risk. We believe our approach provides an acceptable risk-reward profile for long term investors looking to participate in this societal change."
