- Cannabis Hemp as a Global Warming Solution - Proponents argue that easily grown and robust Cannabis Hemp is one of the best if not the very best plants overall for fuel, building supplies, medicine, fiber, food, paper, and substitute for wood. Some go so far as to argue that it could be the best solution to global warming.
- Carbon Conversion Fuel Cell - Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is developing a method of turning carbon directly into electricity.
- Capital Max, Inc - An investment advisor for investment in renewable technologies with low risk (nothing close to what we typically discuss here). Works with clients who have minimum liquid assets of $500,000. Is working on opening a U.S. Renewable Energy fund.
- Cavitation Heaters - Claimed to heat fuids with greater efficiency than other methods. Some claim more energy output than input. The most common method used is to rotate a cylinder inside the fluid to produce bubbles, which generate heat as they collapse.
- CD Motor - Apparatus objective is to mimic the exotic results claimed by Robert Adams, yet at low cost, with ubiquitous materials.
- Cents per Kilowatt-hour: Energy Types Compared - Energy modality comparison based on projected "cents per kilowatt-hour". Ranging from Gas, Coal and Nuclar, to Solar, Wind, Tide, OTEC and other renewables.
- Microwave-Based Energy Technologies >
Cell Phones Popping Popcorn - Cardo Systems set up groups in various countries and released the YouTube videos all about the same time to sell their remote headsets as a viral promotion. Can Cellphones really be used to pop popcorn? Are Cellphones safe to use today? (PESWiki; June 14, 2008)
- Chaim Yankle ZPE - Claims to have a Zero Point Energy machine that "absorbs the energy of ZPE amplifies it and rectifies it, making a modicum of free energy in the process.
- Chas Campbell Generator - Austrialian inventor demonstrates a prototype generator with input of 800 W, able to self-run off the 3500 W output, with energy left over to run a drill, a saw, and other appliances. Claims he can scale it up to 1 megawatt output.
- Citizenre Corporation - Manufactures, pays for, installs, permits, owns, maintains, and operates the solar photovoltaic (PV) system installation. Homeowners are required to pay for the electricity generated from these panels, at a fixed rate that is at or below their current electricity price, for up to 25 years.
- Closed Loop Ammonia Turbine - The return of Tesla's solar (and other low heat input) design for home and commercial power systems using inexpensive technology discarded last century due to then cheap oil prices.
- Clean Coal - The phasing out of coal as a polluting technology, in favor of a more clean, renewable approach.
- Charming Coal from Biomass via Hydrothermal Carbonization - Process discovered at the Max-Planck Institute enables the conversion of biomass, without detours and complicated intermediate steps, completely into carbon and water.
- Closed-Loop Water Fuel Cell - Moray B. King proposes a design that could take advantage of the purported electrolysis overunity systems. His scheme would be a self-running system with a mechanism of extracting the excess energy for practical use.
- 'Cold Electricity' circuit - Ronald R. Stiffler has come up with a circuit that he calls a "cold electricity" circuit that appears to be harnessing free energy from the environment. "This is a totally self-contained, self-powered circuit. There are not tricks to it."
- Community - listing of gatherings supporting the advancement of cutting-edge, clean energy technology.
- Compact Fluorescent Directory - Overview includes advantages and disadvantages.
- Cool Earth Solar - Company has developed an inflatable solar concentrator technology that slashes materials costs, making solar farms competitive with commercial electricity generation systems within three years.
- The Corporation - Exceptionally well-done documentary film looks at the rise of the corporate body having the legal status of a person -- yet without conscience, greed-driven, raping the planet for profit -- but which is now beginning to gain moral fiber, to turn around and then reverse the damage it has inflicted on the biosphere.
- 'Free Energy' Plans by Creative Science and Research - Company sells plans for devices that they say can provide "free power for your home, garage, car or truck". They claim to have heaters, engines, and other devices that are over unity or that require no fuel. A few buyers say the kits do not operate as claimed. Others are satisfied.
- Crower's Six-Stroke Engine - Achieving a means of harnessing engine heat, Bruce Crower's internal combustion engine adds two strokes involving the injection of water, which immediately turns to steam, expanding the chamber for another cycle. Process keeps engine running cool.
- Crystal Ion Air Turbine Engine - Engine resurrected from the '60s by Ron Rockwell is said to run totally on ambient air, and can be scaled large enough to power an airplane or small enough to power a lawn mower.
- Cycclone Magnet Engine (FRAUD) - All-permanent-magnet engine by U.S. company with R&D lab in Australia. October 2003 TV footage shows demo prototype in action. Company claims to be building a prototype that can be fitted to an automobile.
- Cyclone Technologies Schoell Cycle Engine (Sat. 6:00 pm eastern, live (http://freeenergynow.net)) - The Cyclone Engine is designed around the principles of an external combustion engine, to efficiently use any liquid or gaseous fuel and create more power and significantly less emissions than current gasoline or diesel powered internal combustion engines.
