Exp 5: View Radiant Spike on Scope

11/24/2004

I was able to view the radiant spike Bedini referred to in one of his messages (Yahoo! Groups forum Bedini SG Radiant Energy Project, Msg# 231) by using a spool of 30 AWG magnet wire purchased at Radio Shack.

My scope (20 MHz) is not fast enough to get a good shot at the spike, but I have posted a photo of the best shot I could get so you get the idea. The spike flickers a bit on the scope screen, which is why it is a little more blurry than it is in person. If you have a faster scope, I'd love to see a better shot.

The spool of 30 AWG Radio Shack magnet wire is 200 ft in length, and it is not necessary to take the wire off the spool because the beginning of the wire is accessible through a hole in the spool. The output wire to the + terminal of the charging battery is slipped through the spool, and the scope is connected across the coil.

The spool of Radio Shack magnet wire is sold in a 3 pack of different guages for about $5.
