Reports
[Moved from template page where it was posted on July 22, 2005]
I'm now getting approximately 20-30 kilometers per tank more with Acetone.
Summary
- make & model of car - 1986 Chev Blazer S-10
- ratio(s) of acetone used (oz / 10 gal) - 1-2 oz/10 gal
- mileage before - consistent 300-330 (Kilometers)
- mileage after - 360 Kilometers
- number of miles tested - thus far 690
- other observations (power, idle, exhaust) - the 2.8 V-6 engine feels much tighter, more power and smoother with Acetone.
Individual Reports
July 22 2005
I'm driving a 1986 Blazer S-10 with very low miles for it's age (100,000). The motor was running sluggish prior to acetone with noticable performance and milage increases after. I am adding approximately 1.5 to 2 ounces per 10 gallon tank.
I was getting 330 (KMH) prior to acetone and 360 (KMH) after.
