Here at PESWiki we cover the entire spectrum of clean energy technologies, from conventional methods such as solar, wind, geothermal, tide, wave, river on the one hand; to very unconventional or "exotic" technologies such as magnet motors, overunity electromagnetic motors, gravity motors, cold fusion, and vortex technologies on the other.

This page is devoted to featuring the very best exotic technologies that we know of.

This might even be thought of as a sort of "Top 100 Clean Energy Technologies" listing, except that we won't (yet) be putting the same level of rigor into this list ranking evaluation as we do the Top 100 list, though we may eventually.

Our purpose is to help the most promising clean energy technologies move forward, and some of these exotic technologies often languish for lack of attention and support. They are not usually yet on the Top 100 list because they are not far enough along or proven well enough.

Licensing for Commercial Roll-out

  • Feature: Electromagnetic >
Magnetron Fuelless Generator by PowerStream - PowerStream claims to have a self-generating power system called the Magnetron, which they say is "first of its kind to market", advertising output capabilities between 5KW and 2 MW. They say the load-following device could be the primary and sole source of energy for a myriad of applications, from home to business to transportation power. (PESWiki; June 8, 2010) (Comment)
  • Directory:GEET Reactor by Paul Pantone - Preheating incoming fuel with outgoing exhaust, with a magnetic rod of specific length, forms a plasma of the fuel at relatively low temperatures. The plasma then implodes in the combustion chamber, burning cleaning and ultra efficiently, and allowing multiple fuel stream types to be used in the engine.

Approaching Commercial Rollout

  • Featured: Electromagnetic / Solid State >
ERR Fluxgenerator by Noah's Ark Research Foundation - Inventor, James B. Schwartz of the Philippines, has come up with a device that allegedly puts out six kilowatts of electricity from the surroundings, using a solid state arrangement in a panel made from "left-handed material" -- Aluminum and Bismuth interwoven with coils -- tying into the Earth's frequencies. (PESWiki; Aug. 15, 2009)
  • Steorn Electromagnet Orbo - Irish company made a big splash a few years ago announcing they had a free energy technology that could change the energy landscape of the planet. They got a jury of scientists to review the technology, who said they were not convinced, but the company still maintains that they will yet be proving their claim. They have a group of scientists helping in the R&D. They are presently allowing third parties in for independent testing and licensing.
  • Featured: Electromagnetic / Aether >
Kapanadze Free Energy Generator - Georgia Republic inventor, Tariel Kapaladze, claims to have invented a 5 kilowatt free energy generator. In a demonstration video, the device appears to produce copious amounts of energy from no visible source. Though it appears to be extracting energy from the aether, some people think it could be a matter of getting energy from the electrical grid through inductive coupling. (PESWiki; July 9, 2009)
  • Searl Effect Generator (SEG) - SEG generator capable of cheaply and safely producing electricity without fuel, pollution, friction, or noise. Anti-gravity effects also involved.
  • Magnacoaster Motor Company: Vorktex - Canadian company claims to have an over-unity generator that produces electric power without using fuel. The design involves a solid state system with some very high-powered permanent magnets and some specially-wound coils, along with some proprietary circuitry that pulses and convertes a high-frequency high-voltage current. A lead acid battery bank serves both as the input and the output.
  • JET Energy is Developing Cold Fusion Technology - Having brought cold fusion through many generations of advancement, Mitchell Swartz' company is in process of developing the technology to the point that it could be commercialized. They made history in 2003 by running a large public demonstration for five consecutive days at MIT.
  • Electromagnetic > Lutec >
Engineers unveil Lutec 1000 free energy machine - The Cairns creators of the Lutec 1000 free energy machine have resurfaced after six years of steering clear of the public spotlight, having been granted patents in at least 60 countries around the world, including the US, China and India. They claim to have had an independent validation recently of their device which "amplifies" input power by as much as ten times. Expected to market in 2 years. (Cairns; Aug. 10, 2010)
  • Featured: Air Cars / Magnet Motors >
Magnetic Air Car Could Be Ready by 2010 - The Magnetic Air Car uses three on-board substations to build and harness compressed air. "A battery starts a magnetic motor… which in turn drives a small but powerful on-board air compressor. The air flow is then tubocharged and multiplied." (PESWiki; Oct. 14, 2008)
  • China - A New Magnetic Conversion of Zero Point Energy - The Wang Shum Ho prototype 5kW electricity generator is reportedly powered by permanent magnets and claimed to be close to production. The team is seeking a marketing partner and offers a working prototype for viewing by financial backers.

Speculative

  • Bob Kostoff's Gravity Motor - A self-sustaining engine that would cost less than half of a small wind turbine. The machine works much like a teeter-totter, using a series of sliding weights that, with the help of the earths gravitational pull, force the unit to continue spinning around in a circle.
  • Directory:Crystal Ion Air Turbine Engine
  • Directory:Lutec - Evades validation; lots of smoke.
  • Directory:Dennis Lee - Claims to have free energy technology in the wings, waiting for the right number of people (1 million) to be willing to come to a public demo at its debut. His network makes available a number of other, less exotic technologies, many of which work just fine. His modus operandi is strongly faith-based, to the point of being obnoxious and a distraction.
  • G Force Rotational machine demo video posted - Since 1993, an Armenian inventor has been demonstrating his patented machine that harnesses static gravitational energy to turn a 3 meter diameter wheel that turns a 300KVA electric generator. Just release the brake, and off it goes. Commercial version expected in about a year. (PESWiki; Jan. 4, 2008)

Still in R&D

  • Magnet Motors >
Searl Effect Generator (SEG) - SEG generator is allegedly capable of cheaply and safely producing electricity without fuel, pollution, friction, or noise. Anti-gravity effects also involved. Recent mock-up completion marks the first time since 1963 that a roller has rotated about a ring continuously. Next step, full 15 kW SEG generator. (http://www.searlsolution.com)
  • Milkovic Two-Stage Mechanical Oscillator - Serbian inventor, Veljko Milković, shows how leveraged secondary oscillations evince around twelve times more energy than the input energy supplied to the primary pendulum. Highest scientific rating of "original scientific work" granted the patented technology.
