(Note the Watson has resigned from NEC, but he may rejoin, so this vote is necessary for the record.)

June 15, 2006

  • Greg Watson resigned from the New Energy Congress on June 15, 2006 after a motion was made by NEC founder, Sterling D. Allan to censure Watson because of his hotheaded mannerism in handling the Peter Stevens Joe cell validation (or lack thereof). Watson was going to be one of two NEC witnesses when the validation was ready. Earlier in the day, Watson had threatened Peter Stevens with a class action lawsuit. This was what spurred Allan to call for Watson's censure. Watson responded by resinging.

Mar. 14, 2006

An offer by PureHeartInvestments to match funds dollar-for-dollar for clean energy technologies presently funded at 1 million or over, ended up being a questionable private placement scheme requiring the party to put all their money into a new bank account.... Highly suspect, risky, and ethically shady.

Mar. 10-13, 2006

Some NEC members reviewed a claim to a ZPE technology ready for license broker position; made offer based on understanding, which ended up being flawed.
