Classifieds:Seeking Machinist to Build Hydrogen Generator from Salt Water
From PESWiki
A U.S. representative for a Korean company is seeking to contract a machinist capable of building a lab scale hydrogen generator based on U.S. patent 5,089,107, which defines a bi-polar auto electrolytic hydrogen generator cabable of hydrogen generation from the salt water using Magnesium and Aluminium.

- Abstract
- An autoelectrolytic hydrogen generator system constituted by one or a plurality of similar cells wherein a galvanic arrangement of magnesium and aluminum plates of sacrificial elements as anode; stainless steel as cathode and sea water as electrolyte, by its very nature is made to develop a voltage when connected in short circuit causing a current to flow within the system and hydrogen production of hydrogen in situ and on demand by the electrolytic action at one pole, the cathode, and additional hydrogen by the electrochemical reaction at the other pole, the anode. Surplus electric energy of the system applied to a optional electrolyzer will also be made to produce additional hydrogen at its two sacrificial aluminum electrodes.

- We have not yet drawn up a blueprint. That is something the contractee will do, based on the patent drawings and some other documents we have assembled, including diagrams, long statements of chemical, electrical reactions of his invention.
- Our lab team is going after a modified version of the original Pacheco patent.
- Regarding the size / cost of a device..... I think we can spend around $50,000 first for the lab scale equipment.
- In addition to fabrication of this device, there are some more requirements;
- Measuring system of the volume and purity of H2 generated.
- Information about fuel cell to be used by contractor before entering fabrication.
- We don't have separate testing entity yet.
The machinist for the first stage of this project needs to be a mechanical engineer with knowledge of electrical engineering.

The Garret Carb worked like this system back in '35.
You want to stay away from Salt Water though...creates corbon monoxide and chlorine.
