It seems the first researcher to build a magnet motor was the Brazilian inventor Francisco Furtado Figueiredo, in the decade of 1960.

Mr. Figueiredo supposed that the space is fulfilled by particles which he named “magnetrons”. And according to his theory, there is a flux of those magnetrons between the Sun and the Earth. And he supposed that such a flux of magnetrons would have energy enough to make a motor to work. That's why he undertook to make a small motor, and after many attempts it finally worked successfully.

Mr. Figueiredo wrote a book published by his own expenses in 1969, which was sent to Europe to many researchers interested in his experiment, and since that time many are improving his magnetic motor worldwide. Unfortunatelly, he is never mentioned in the work of other researchers.

PERFORMANCE OF FIGUEIREDO MOTOR interpreted by QUANTUM RING THEORY

ABSTRACT The Figueiredo Motor works without a source of energy in the conventional way as we know “source”. It seems the motor runs thanks to gravito-magnetic energy supplied by the Sun and Earth. Here is proposed an explanation of the motor working, based on the structure of aether proposed in the author’s book Quantum Ring Theory, published in August-2006 by the Bauu Institute Press.

INTRODUCTION

The explanation proposed here is based on that proposed by Figueiredo in his book TEORIA UNIVERSAL DO MAGNETISMO, with a difference: in his book he tries to explain the formation of magnetic fields by considering a flux of magnetic particles of the aether that he named “magnetrons”.

While in QUANTUM RING THEORY it is proposed that the formation of magnetic fields is performed by a flux of gravitational particles of the aether named particles “g”, and such a gravitational flux agglutinates the magnetic particles “m” (called magnetrons by Figueiredo). Francisco Figueiredo proposed an explanation for the working of his motor; however he did not consider a flux of gravitational particles of the aether.

He did not discover the correct structure of the aether because such a discovery depends on another earlier discovery: the structure of the nucleus, and how a flux of gravitational particles runs inside the nuclei. Figures 1 and 2 reproduce respectively the figures 2.4 and 2.5 exhibited in the page 182 of the book Quantum Ring Theory.

In the Figure 1 we see that the orbit of one electron induces a field of particles e(+) and e(-). These particles have the form of a ring, which is crossed by a flux of gravitational particles “g” (such flux is named n(o), and it is shown in the Figure 2).

Of course the flux n(o) of gravitational particles “g” within the loadstone shown in the Figure 2 can be reinforced by the flux of particles “g” produced by the magnetic field of the Earth, and of the Sun (obviously by depending upon the position of the loadstone within the fields of the planet and of the star).

Let’s see how we can apply such model of aether for explaining Figueiredo Motor.


BEHAVIOR OF NON MAGNETIZED SUBSTANCES

Figueiredo made experiments with substances not suitable to be magnetized, and he concluded that although they are unable to be magnetized as happens with the ironmagnetic ones, however these non magnetized substances have an interesting sensibility: they get a magnetic polarization, due to the magnetic particles of the aether that move within the body. In other words, they are unable to become a magnet with a strong field as in the case of the ironmagnetic substances; however they get a magnetic polarization that interacts with the field of a magnet. Just such a property has inspired Figueiredo to conceive his motor. Let’s see what happens with a non magnetic body crossed by a magnetic field. The Fig. 3 shows a non magnetic cylinder with circular cross-section, within a magnetic field.

The figure shows how the magnetic particles of the body are distributed around the body, under the influence of the north pole N of the magnetic field.

Such magnetic polarization is induced by the gravitational flux n(o) shown in the Fig. 2, when such a flux crosses the orbits of the electrons of external layers of the atoms electrosphere in the body’s surface. Now we change the position of the body with regard to the line forces of the magnetic field, as shown in the Figure 4.

So, the distribution of the magnetic particles changes, as shown in A, where we see that the axis of the cylinder makes an angle á = 900 with the horizontal. Fig. 5-A shows that when we change the position of the cylinder by decreasing the angle alpha, the magnetic polarization shown in 4-A starts up to change.

Fig. 6 shows one horizontal wire of the armature of the Figueiredo Motor, magnetically polarized by the flux N.

Fig. 7 shows what happens with the magnetic polarization of two wires facing the plate M.

Pay attention that the plate M must take a position facing the direction East-West, as shown in 7-B (or West-East).

In Fig. 7-A we see two circles. The circle of the right has only particles N, so there is a resultant force of attraction with the plate M. While in the circle of the left the resultant force is of repulsion. Therefore the armature is submitted to a torque, and it can gyrate if the torque surpasses the force of friction of the water (ball-bearing of the motor).

INFLUENCE OF THE SUN

There are two influences of the Sun that must be considered:

1. Magnetic

2. Gravitational


1. Magnetic influence

It seems that the energy that supplies the Figueiredo Motor comes up chiefly from the magnetic field of the Earth. In the Fig. 8-A we see the motor in the south of Brazil, where Figueiredo performed his experiments.


Fig. 8-B shows how the Fig. 8-A is regarding to the Sun. We see that the magnetic field of the Sun contributes for the performance of the motor, by increasing the Earth’s magnetic field.

2. Gravitational influence

As the gravitational field of the Sun is also composed by gravitational particles “g”, then the flux of such particles of the gravitational field can have influence in the gravitational field n(o) that causes the magnetic field. Depending on the position of the laboratory where the Figueiredo Motor works, the gravitational flux of the Sun can reinforce or weaken the flux n(o). Fig. 9 shows the Figueiredo’s laboratory (black point in the Earth surface) at 09:00h and 12:00h.

We realize that at 09:00h the flux coming from the Sun reinforces the flux N of the Fig. 8-A, while at 12:00h the flux coming from the Sun becomes orthogonal to the flux N. Obviously the considerations regarding to the Sun can be applied to the case of the influence due to the Moon.

As we may realize, the Figueiredo Motor is a good tool for the study of the unification between the gravity and the electromagnetism.

My experiments in 2006

The videos posted in YouTube I made with my son Yuri. The experiment shown in the videos have been made in a room with the window and the door closed.

However, as the motor is very sensible, I started to have a suspiction: perhaps the motor made by me could be gyrating with the help of light currents of air coming from small splits in the window and under the door.


So, I decided to investigate it. I have made many other models, and finally I have found a model that does no need the help of currents of air.

I have tested the model under a campanula, and so there is not any controversy anymore: the Figureiredo Motor really works.

The motor gyrates continuosly under the campanula.

Performance within the campanula: each revolution in 7 minutes, in counter clockwise direction.


Unfortunatelly, after 30 minutes the motor stops, because the armature made by paper becomes wet by the vapour of water into the box (I made the experiments in summer, and it was too hot). The I had the idea of puting the vessel into the freezer, in order to have ice bellow the water. By this way I could avoid the formation of vapour into the box. The motor worked about 2 hours, and when the ice melted completely the motor stoped to work.

HOW TO MAKE THE FIGUEIREDO MOTOR

The motor’s scheme is shown in the page 46 of the Figueiredo’s book entitled Teoria do Magnetismo Universal, which first issue has benn published in Brazil in 1969, by the Gráfica Esperança, in Porto Alegre city. The scheme is reproduced here in the end of the paper. It is not used any source of energy for supplying the motor. In his book Figueiredo proposed that the electromotive force of the motor is resulted from the magnetic energy of the Sun.

INTRODUCTION

In 2003 the Editora Bodigaya has published my book Os Dados que Deus Escondeu (The Dice that God Hidden), in which I explained for the Brazillian’s lay men the foundations of my Quantum Ring Theory, recently published in August 2006 by the Bauu Institute Press. In November 2006 I have received a letter from Mr. Antonio C. B. Figueiredo, who was reading my book Os Dados que Deus Escondeu. By reading my book, Antonio had concluded that his father had ideas similars to the mines concerning the magnetism, and so he offered to send me the book of his father. In my book Quantum Ring Theory the magnetic particles of the aether are called “particles m”, while in Figueiredo’s book he calls them “magnetrons”.

The Motor

The scheme shown in the figure at the end of the paper is composed by:

1) A small vessel “V” with water.

2) A circular foot made by a plastic disk “D” or any other diamagnetic material. With the ends well polished, it floats on the surface of the water that fulfils V, in the center of which it is kept by the capilar principle.

The water works as a ball-bearing almost without friction. The disk D must having a suitable size regarding to the diameter of V, in order to get a certain rigor of centralization. Being so much big, it does not stays in the center (it goes to to the borders of V). If too much small, it does not offer that rigor as it were really a ball-bearing.

3) A staff. Figueiredo did not tell what material he used. So we conclude that it is not important for the working of the motor. As the disk must float on the water, obviously we have to use the most lightest one (for instance the straw for drinking Coca-Cola).

4) An armature “ARM”, composed by several wires made by cuper (or nylon, etc.). Figueiredo tells us that he actually did not use the wires. He used an armature made by a circular sheet of ordinary paper.

5) An inductor “IND”, composed by:

5.1- A plate “M”, magnetized by a loadstone fixed in it.

5.2- A loadstone fixed to the plate M.


Performance

It has been observed that the armature did not gyrate with the same angular velocity along the 24 hours of the day. It worked better in some periods of the day than in other periods. However, in another days, it passed to work bad in the period in which it worked well, and to work well in the period in which it wored bad.

Between 11:00h to 13:00h it always worked bad, and it almost stop at 12:00h.

The faster rotation used to occur at 09:00h, and after that decrease continously up to 12:00, when it worked very slowly. Sometimes at 18:00h it gyrated in the contrary direction. Figueiredo noted that its performance was also connected with the following condictions: • of the meteorological weather • of the Moon • of the sky In the page 51 it is exhibited a graphic with the following data: Date: 12-12-87 Rotation: clockwise direction Hour: starting up at 13:30h Sky: clean Weather: good Moon: near to horizon Time wasted to perform 7 complete revolutions: 1st revolution – 4 minutes 2nd revolution – 4 minutes 3rd revolution – 5 minutes 4th revolution – 3 minutes 5th revolution – 4 minutes 6th revolution – 5 minutes 7th revolution – 4 minutes Total of 7 revolutions : 29 minutes

Other interesting behavior

After some days observing its behaior, Figueiredo decided to remove the plate M. Obviously the armature did not gyrate continuously in a certain direction as earlier of removing the plate. But he noted that the magnetization made the armature to become very sensible: as a response to Figueiredo walking within the room, the armature moved, getting a new position. The armature always has chosen a position of equilibrium with regard to the objects within the room. As Figueired was magnetized too, the position of equilibrium of the armature has been influenced by his position within the room.

Performance:

1- It works full time

2- Each revolution in 7minutes


The staff is made with the half of a toothpick The disk is made by cutting a polyestiren plate (thickness 5mm).

CAUTION: do not perfurate the disk of polyestiren with the toothpick. If you do it, the water goes up by capilarity through the toothpick and wets the paper of the armature
