Purpose
This study is to help people with little or no physics knowledge understand Tom Bearden's book: Energy from the Vacuum (http://www.cheniere.org/books/efv/toc.htm) http://www.cheniere.org/books/efv/toc.htm
The book is written for readers with graduate or postgraduate level understanding of physics. This study will depend on such persons to help others learn the more difficult concepts and definitions. We would hope that Tom or John Bedini, or Peter Lindemann would help in this study as they recommend this book as essential material for understanding radiant energy.

Method
The method we suggest to accomplish this goal is to create a workbook which indexes each difficult concept by giving the 1. page number, 2. chapter section (the book chapters are divided up into numbered sections as in 1.1, 1.2, etc.), 3. paragraph number, and 4. stated word or phrase. This could be as: 1: 1.1: 2: virtual photon energy exchange; where 1: is page number, 1.1: is the chapter section, 2: is the paragraph on the page, and virtual photon energy exchange is the unknown or difficult concept to be learned. After this listing is entered space will be left for students or teachers to fill in further explanation. Thus it would be entered as the following: 1: 1.1: 2: virtual photon energy exchange: _______________________________________ The explanation of the concept should preferably be from the book or Tom himself. If it is found in the glossary then a statement such as See Glossary under virtual photon energy exchange would be appropriate. If further explanation is given in the book a student or teacher could write in the spaces: See page ?: section ?.?: paragraph ?: ... If it is not found in the book and is found on another web page then the link and location could be given. If a simple explanation is all that is needed then it could be given (perhaps also with an example).
A working workbook could be created where anyone could suggest an answer as above suggested. And a final workbook could be made where capable teachers could approve of given answers on pages they could only modify (all others could just read). Further pages could be created where there is need for extended study of a topic.
There is a need for progress, as opposed to random and ambiguous learning, in this study. This is difficult and new material that will take time and effort to understand. The best way to learn such subjects is to work through each part with discussion and reflection.
The following link has the first 73 pages of the book online (as well as the 27 page foreword): http://www.cheniere.org/books/efv/toc.htm
See also Tom's page that lists free energy working devices: http://www.cheniere.org/misc/oulist.htm
There he says: "A number of working overunity devices can be built from the plans posted on John Bedini's Website. Tom Bearden advises that these devices will work only if they are built exactly as shown, with no deviations or "improvements.""
Levels of Participation Page
This Participation page will explain who is and can be involved with this study and the reasons for such. Please read this page, the FAQ page, and the Guidelines page before asking questions or attempting to particapate.
Guidelines Page
The Guidelines page will have general rules for participating in this study on this web site or the email discussion list.
Resources
This Resource page is to list printed and online physics text books and materials that may help in this study. These can be either for or against the theories in Bearden's book.
Working Study Pages
- Working Foreword
- Working Chapter 1
- Apologetics - answering sceptics charges.
[Pages to be developed for finalized approved study pages.]
Study Outline
A *Study Outline Page that outlines significant points in the book.
Illustrative Experiments
This Illustrative Experiments page will be for students and teachers to share experiments and inventions that support the theories in Bearden's book. Bearden's web site gives some examples: http://www.cheniere.org/misc/oulist.htm [1] (http://www.cheniere.org/misc/oulist.htm)
