Some of you who have been following us for a few years will remember that PESWiki actually had its start, somewhat painfully, because I tried to post a few pages over at Wikipedia, and they were all unmercifully deleted. Obliterated. One, after another. For example, I posted a page on Magnet Motors. A week later, it was gone. Then on Perendev. Deleted. They want things that are well-established, not fringe.

Finally, I thought, "Man, this is a waste of time. I ought to start my own wiki." Didn't know how. Went to TeslaTech 2004, and there were a couple of guys there who knew how to do it. They stepped up, and the rest is history. PESWiki was born. Now we have over 4,000 pages about free energy topics -- conventional and exotic -- inventors, shakers, news, etc.

Well, yesterday, my mom's b-day, I spend a good part of the day converting a biography document about my dad into the Wikipedia mark-up syntax, and posted it:

There was an error working with the wiki: Code[1]

In contrast to a decade ago, rather then getting booted, I received The Writer's Barnstar recognition, by an admin, I presume.

Prior to that, the page probably was languishing from clicks through from There was an error working with the wiki: Code[2] to a blank page.

I was going to plead with some of you in the audience who are familiar with Wikipedia, to try and help bring the page into compliance with their guidelines, but it looks like I got a pretty good start. Of course, you're welcome to help tidy it up.
