Relevance: There was an error working with the wiki: Code[1]

Yesterday, I posted this news bullet.

Latest: Directory:Electromagnetic > There was an error working with the wiki: Code[2] - A Taiwanese company publicly demonsrated their "magnetic generator" (QMoGen?) on July 19. A 7.5 kW unit is expected to be available in the marketplace in about a year, at a price of around $24,000, apparently to be manufactured by Foxconn. (PESWiki July 26, 2014)

John Dillon sent this correction:

: Hi Sterling,

: You got the cost wrong in the expected price of the meglev motor from Taiwan Edison.

: The expected price given is NT$ 150, 000 which is new Taiwan dollars not Mainland China money.

: I checked the news reports from Taiwan sources and they said 150,000 so it clearly means new Taiwan dollars. Google loosely translates this as yuan .-which simply means money in Chinese.

: Now There are approx 29 NT $ to 1 US $ ( not like the 6.1 to 1 for mainland ) so 150000/29 =$5200 USD. Big difference from $25000.

: Over a period of 24 hours they say it will produce 3 times the power required in that period for an average sized home . Obviously quite a bit of the cost goes into storage batteries.

: At $5000 I think it is starting to get affordable.

: Best

: John

: P.S my wife is Taiwanese

Blacklight Power posts Videos of the July 21st demonstration

: Barry Mead writes:

: Sterling:

: Blacklight Power has now posted videos of their July 21st public demonstration.

: They have already achieved 140 times overunity using only conventional solar cells and the powdered fuel. It takes 5 Joules to ignite the water fuel powder, and the reaction gives off over 700 joules of light energy. Even with inefficient conventional solar cells they get out more electricity out than they put in. With the new triple junction high-efficiency solar cells they will be able to get much better energy conversion ratios.

: They estimate that a full blown production models will be available within a few short weeks.

: See the videos here:

On July 21st, BlackLight performed its third preannounced public demonstration of its breakthrough technology to a group of distinguished attendees that spanned the spectrum of professionals. Specific events included: ignition of H2O-based solid fuel in air and argon atmospheres, calorimetric energy balance determination under argon, EUV spectroscopy of the hydrogen transitions to hydrinos, theory, technical, engineering, and commercialization presentations, and live demonstrations of BlackLight’s Third Generation SunCell with Photovoltaic Conversion of Light to Electricity. The main engineering aspects of the presentation were the complete system design and a unit that demonstrated those elements of the fast ignition and regeneration as well as optical distribution and photovoltaic conversion systems. A question and answer session was held with participation by three validators: a materials expert, an energetic materials and spectroscopy expert, and a defense company licensee.
