A working listing of the equipment we plan to have with us, and generalized protocols for Blog:Rosch's 15 kW and 100 kW Demo starting around June 16 near Cologne, Germany, at Rosch' facility.

We welcome your input to help make sure we can do a professional job of validating the technology.

Note: Because of the wider girth of the 15 kW and 100 kW tubes, they will not be anchored to the wall, just the floor. The generator and the air compressor will be situated on the floor next to the tube. The three windows near the bottom of the 100 kW tube will allow for inspecting the base, minus what is obscured by the chain assembly. Because the generator will be situated on the floor, then the main task will be to rule out a hidden wire running to that generator. It would be good if Rosch could situate that generator on top of a plexiglass base. They may already have it anchored to the floor.

I'm hoping Rosch will consider streaming the demo while we're there, measuring it. I'll have my webcam (not as high fidelity as what they had), which I'll broadcast via my PESNetwork YouTube channel. It would be good to have two livestream feeds going.

Previously had planned visit to Rosch, June 15,16, independently, but would like to be part of entourage, especially to Croatia and Slovenia:

Jay Pavasia - of Jeruz Energy, which has helped roll out Directory:MagneGas successfully in India, among other things. He is interested in introducing Rosch's KPP to India. I met Jay at the 2012 Events:2012:ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference. We also visited a technology together in Las Vegas. He helped me get my Visa to India.

J.D. - from The Netherlands, is with Directory:Global Breakthrough Energy Movement (BEM). I met J.D. in person a the Global BEM conferences in Hivlersum Holland and Boulder Colorado, USA. J.D. was an avid listener to my radio show, and I valued his input during the shows.

Paolo Mazzorana of D'Ambros SNC in Belluno, Italy. Interested in bringing renewable energy technologies to Italy. I met him in person at the 2011 E-Cat 1-MW plant demonstration in Bologna, Italy, attended by ~30 people.

Proposed Measurement Regimen

We hope to measure/probe all of the following for both the 15 kW and the 100 kW demos. This will require access via a lift to the top of the tubes (if that is where the equipment is located). Most likely the equipment will be located at the bottom area of the Tube.

Power going to the air compressor (Depends on size of motor. Possibly single phase but if a big unit, as we see in the picture, could be 3 phase).

3-phase power coming from the generator.

Power going to each item in the load (could be a mix of 3 phase and single phase).

Infrared thermal camera photographs of all possible locations of "hidden" wires, such as on the floor around the tube.

Carefully look through the windows of the 100 kW system, especially at the base and up the interior sides, inspecting for any "hidden wires."

: Sterling,

: Although I am a Nuclear Engineer and not an Electrical one, I believe I can offer you some thoughts to help you approach this Test.

: A detailed physical inspection for hidden wires needs to be made and documented in a rigorous manner. All sources of compressed air/ N2 bottles battery banks/inverters and how they are connected in the complex should be identified in your report.

: The compressor motor should be removed from its baseplate and visually inspected and photographed.

: The wiring from the generator to the motor should be confirmed to be the only wires feeding the motor.

: The compressor should be removed from its baseplate and visually inspected for any sources of a hidden air supply.

: Any compressed air tanks on the skid should be removed from their mounting and examined for sources of a hidden air supply.

: The name Plate data for the Generator, compressor and motor should be photographed and recorded. The serial numbers should be confirmed by the manufactures to have been built to the company standard for the model number identified on the name plate. If the compressor spec have some proprietary information this should be noted. The compressors power requirements however should be available.

: A quick search on the internet has volumes of information FOR Portable Load Banks.

: In my opinion you need to RENT a portable resistive load bank from a local company in Germany.

: The rental company should be able to help you validate the accuracy of the loading indication of their load bank instruments with documentation traceable to a standard.

: It should be sized to be double the capacity of the generator. The maximum Generator loading should be well understood by you before commencing the test to avoid damaging the generator. The cables connecting the load bank to the generator should be documented in your report.

: If the company really wants to independently test their device they should front the money for you to rent one.

: If that fails donations should pick up the tab if you can come up with a cost estimate.

: You need to call companies in this country to get an idea of what size would be appropriate for 15KW load and what the pricing would be here.

: The load needs to be applied long enough to rule out Batteries. Develop the size of Battery needed to run the compressor motor for 24 HRS.

: The Specs for the motor and the compressor should be well known to you before you go.

: Once the unit is running under no load and is self-sustaining you need to establish how long it can continue to run when the units generator is disconnected from the compressor motor by means of a switch that you control at whim. You need to repeat this test when the unit is fully loaded with your load bank.

: These tests need to be repeated to establish a baseline.

: The Air supply tubing, all valves and capacity of the system and all system pressure sensors need to be documented and well understood. The potential for an air supply from a hidden source needs to be ruled out. The capability to isolate the air supply by means of a ball valve you control needs to be available. A pressure senor for the sir supply needs to established and connected to a recorder. By randomly switching on or off the power supply and/or air supply it will greatly complicate any issue concerning intelligent switching by the owner, because the response every time it is done should very closely match the baseline you established at the beginning of the TEST. Delays in the system response such as bubbles in the tank visible through the windows will indicate a hidden source of supply if switching off occurs without any capability for the owner to anticipate these occurrences.

: Consideration for performing the test during a weekend or after hours should be given to allow isolating all power to the building at the Main Panel for 24 HRS.

: Any of the above considerations which are determined to be unnecessary should be addressed in the report and the basis for which the determination was made should be clearly documented including Owner objections.
